That's this season wasted then. Worse still, the players could start hating being around the place.Have you not heard the good news, he's staying on till the Summer.

I'm surprised they don't already. Mind you a lot of them are getting paid a ton of money and that's all they care about. That's this season wasted then. Worse still, the players could start hating being around the place.
Even the most die hard red would admit Sir Alex's record in Europe wasn't the best. He was also hampered by the 3 foreigner rule.Yeah let's forget how SAF, one of the greatest Managers of all time, with a far superior squad often struggled in the group phase and just expect United with Ole who apparently is a crap Manager, Managing a piss poor unbalanced squad to do better because we are Manchester United.

And also had such league dominance that he could get away with it.Even the most die hard red would admit Sir Alex's record in Europe wasn't the best. He was also hampered by the 3 foreigner rule.
24%Don't know how accurate this is, but apparently Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been the Manager for 21% of all the home matches United have lost in the Premier League.
I didn't say it was the sole reason. That was scrapped circa 96 so at most it was only the first few years.
United aren't a proactive club though. They sacked Jose too late, LVG too and Moyes. So imagine how long it's going to take for them to sack Ole.Even Norwich have sacked Farke, and he won today!
If United get beat next week Ole has to go, no ifs or buts, but if we don't get beat he might as well stay on till the end of the season.
Cider is being facetious as United do not have a game next week.
Good question.Where’s Fletcher and Murtough in this decision making process?
These two where appointed football directors within this new structure.
To build continuity, essentially.Incidentally what would you say the job description of a director of football is?
Ok. I would argue that we do not need two people doing that. Secondly what vision and style are we trying to achieve? To build continuity, essentially.
Clubs like Barca, Bayern, Dortmund, Ajax and City to a lesser extent, have had protracted periods of relative success and a distinct style of play even though they've worked through squads and managers.
The DoF should help foster a vision of play and the personnel required to achieve success and implement it across time.
The coach and the DoF need to be on the same page tactically and the coach should trust and expect the DoF's team to get him the right players.
Ten Haag won't leave mid season apparently. Zidane not interested.Who can't they attract?
Conte was literally holding out for the United job.
Are they saying they cannot attract the people they want or the people they want are not available? So they are going to continue with Ole because they can't attract the names they want. Deary me United have fallen.
Years ago any manager would have jumped at the chance to manage United regardless of what time of year it was.Are they saying they cannot attract the people they want or the people they want are not available?
