Never had much time for Italians, but it was hard not to like people like Vialli and Claudio Ranieri.

Very interesting man as unlike most footballers he came from a very wealthy family in Italy. He thought about the game in a different way to a lot of people.

He was a fantastic player and he was always a very interesting pundit for world cups and European championships.

The words from those who knew him and had worked with him all seem to be very positive sounded like an absolute gent.
