Watched a bit of the Liverpool in the Audi cup and they looked unfortunately quite good.

By all accounts Sturridge has worked so hard all pre season and then got injured again by scoring that goal. What would people do with him? If it's not long term injury would you patch him up and move him on? Is he too injury prone? From his perspective his World Cup place I'd say is massively on the line. so what would you do if you were him?

That clip epitomizes sturridge's career tbh. A moment of brilliance followed by layoff due to injury.

Thing is he's on huge money at Liverpool reported to be around £150k a week so if you do sell him you'll be taking a low fee as the clubs who would in theory buy him won't be able to pay transfer fee and wages especially for a player with his injury record.

They're probably better off keeping him if they can but just building a squad where they don't rely on him, he's kind of like a bonus player when he is fit.

I feel a bit sorry for him as he's so talented and taking the liverpool stuff out of it he'd finally found a club where he could show off his talent.
