It definitely wasn’t a Pep style signing, I think the objective with signing him was to provide the goals to win the CL and that’s what was delivered.Loved how bad Madrid made Haaland look too, although that isn't that hard, if he doesn't score he seems to do absolutely nothing. Really don't think Pep even likes him and he doesn't fit in that City team. So odd.
I think that's pretty much it.It definitely wasn’t a Pep style signing, I think the objective with signing him was to provide the goals to win the CL and that’s what was delivered.
He is poor when he doesn’t score goals. When he’s scoring then it masks his deficiencies but when he’s in poor scoring form, he adds nothing to the team in my opinion.
Yeah. I don't know that I'd even want him for just goals, I think the best players have a whole lot more to their game, at least one other use.I think his dream for his dream move to Madrid is in the bin unless his improves his game dramatically.
Don’t think I would to be honest, if he was brought into this team where it is now he would be put into that Lukaku bracket of being pretty useless if he wasn’t scoring goals.I know it's fashionable to diss rival players, and I say that as somebody who thinks dissing Manchester City should be on the school curriculum but if Haaland signed for United in the Summer the country would come to a standstill as United fans organised street-parties on every street/avenue from Carlisle to Lands End.
Best stock up on icecream and jelly, just in case ....

I think Hojlund will end up the better all round player.
Socialising with people on your street, can’t think of anything worse! You just don't like street parties, go on admit it
Think he already is.

Lets hope our prayers are answered.Would be hilarious if city ended up with nothing this season and klopp only the league cup media would be in mourning until the euros.
Think he's been out of the team for a bit to be fair.Kim has had a poor game.
Through injury or selection?Think he's been out of the team for a bit to be fair.
Bit of both as far as I gathered. Listening to the commentator on that one. I don't really watch Bayern.Through injury or selection?
Through injury or selection?
Bad mistake? For what we spent on him his performances were underwhelming at best. The league looked too quick for him and when he did have the ball, he didn’t look capable of beating a man.Good to see Sancho playing well again, I always knew he'd step back up. Bad mistake letting him go back there and potentially making him want to leave the club regardless. ETH has a lot to answer for. He was the best player in that second half, and created two great chances during it, dribbled by his man, and was just on top of his game against very good opposition. Getting back to his best in terms of play.
Football is all about confidence and playing in the right environment. With us he had neither. It also makes a huge difference when a team is set up well and plays as such. No surprise he's able to put in a great performance in a functioning team, really.Bad mistake? For what we spent on him his performances were underwhelming at best. The only thing I can remember him doing of any note was the goal against Liverpool early last season.
