I find it surprising that we haven’t even bothered to put AWB in the shop window by playing him in the odd cup match. I know he’s been “injured” but how long does it take to recover from getting the hump?

I think he will play tonight but his absence suggests more than injury.

There's rumours that he could be off to Palace in January loan with option to buy.

A new right back is required Dalot has come on a long way but I'm yet to be totally convinced by him and we need cover/competition in that position.

If we're signing a right back would suggest that AWB is leaving.

He'd just be a squad player that can cover 3 or 4 positions, not necessarily a replacement for AWB, plus it would probably allow EtH the chance to move 1 or 2 more players on in the Summer than he'd be comfortable doing as the squad stands at the minute.

I get that but the squad is already well stocked in those areas.

It's a strange signing to make unless there's players leaving at the same time.

I don't think ETH wants a massive squad.

Seems odd, especially as we appear to be going for Dumfries in the summer.

could be nonsense, Inter will let him go for 32m - united keen, blah blah.

I know Inter were desperate to sell, kind of remember him being linked to Chelsea.

He'd make no sense for Utd as we don't play wing backs and that is where he's at his best.
