Premier League 2022/23: Arsenal vs Man Utd ~ Sun 22nd Jan 4.30pm

I shall do so when we have the debrief together tomorrow morning. Until then he has the opportunity to prove himself right.

Make sure you do, tell him you're 100% behind him, apart from his recent signing, and his tactics.

Surprised that Fred didn’t start but rest pretty much picks itself with the injuries we have.

What a stupid goal to concede came from terrible play out from the back, fell into the pressing trap laid by Arsenal.

Really enjoyable game of football. Pretty confident going into the second half but we need to prevent a fast Arsenal start.

I think we’ll struggle to hold Arsenal in the second half they look the more dangerous side.

Shaw is terrified of Saka and Odegaard is finding a lot of space in midfield.

Utd’s attacking players just aren’t providing the same sort of threat.

And that sums up my problems with Eriksen that everyone turns a blind eye too.

Dallies too often.

There have been plenty of our players dropping off the Arsenal players.

What's that got to do with Eriksen dallying around with the ball on our 18 yard box and losing possession because he can't play quickly enough?

These lot are miles better than us today, we are terrified of their attacking players and for Utd it’s Rashford or nothing.

Some of these other lads need to start chipping in and winning their battles.

Get in Martinez but Utd have got to start getting tight to these Arsenal players.

Just saying, it seems our striker wouldnt be considered to take a penalty

of the players on the pitch I’d guess he’d go up third, no idea if he’s even been a penalty taker.

one of our best penalty takers of the last 30 years was a left back for example.

Weghorst has missed 11 of 28. Shouldn't be anywhere near the penalties.

i also forgot Eriksen he’d probably go ahead of Weghorst.

Penalties are for your technical players who strike the ball cleanly I wouldn’t say Weghorst is that sort of player.

He has done ok today but you can see the limitations he’s got even if Burnley came up I think they’d try to sell him, he isn’t a premier league player hasn’t got the speed.

Pressure told eventually, maybe the extra game midweek was to much for our players.

Think there’s 3 players out there for 90 minutes who are well short of the quality required to win the league.

Arsenal were excellent.

There are no complaints to be had.
We shouldn't have started that game with the donkey and when we did we shouldnt have finished it with the donkey.
