Reports are City are going to pay his buyout clause around 65m euro plus 5m euro in training fees to take him from Bilbao in January.
I know he's got a big reputation but seem to recall he suffered a bad injury which I assume he's now back from that'll be another £60m spent on the defence by Pep and the usual player couldn't say no to Pep twaddle is being put out.
No doubt Laporte will likely triple his wages by joining City so lets not paint this as something that it isn't yes he's joining a club where he can win more titles but he he's also getting a massive pay rise from what he'd be earning at Bilbao.
