He's well out of favour so needs a moveCan't see him going anywhere, at least until the summer.
He definitely seems to be, I agree, but I don't see how a loan benefits us.He's well out of favour so needs a move
True, however who is going to pay him big moneyI think like Sancho last season a loan just means that Amorim doesn't need to answer questions about him every few days.
Might save us £2-3m in wages this season which could be spent on a player who the manager wants to work with.
Also, if the loan goes well clubs might be interested in buying him this summer.
True, however who is going to pay him big money
Was he at Kaths funeral, I only saw clips on the news and didn't spot him
Oh shut up with the narrative, I saw a very short clip on the news, and didn't see him.A shame you asked this. Of course he was. You can question his ability as a footballer and his commitment to United. You cannot question his integrity as a human.
Starting to worry me your problem with him isn't football related.
Solksjaer took one to stayFootballers don't take pay cuts as you say the only way he leaves is if Utd cough up some money that means he still ends up making the same money as he would have done by staying with us.
Solksjaer took one to stay
There is 0% chance we get relegated. I thought you would know that, you're usually on the ball.I'd have no issue sending him there to be honest.
As for being in a relegation battle until we get the points on the board that pull us well clear of that drop line we are vulnerable to it even if it's a slim chance.
There is 0% chance we get relegated. I thought you would know that, you're usually on the ball.
I'll take that bet!Come the end of the season I think we'll be closer to the team in 18th on points than the team that finishes 4th.
We are only seven points above Ipswich, 9 points above Leicester, Southampton are already down and playing like they know it. level on points with West Ham, so it's not 0% chance. There is 0% chance we get relegated. I thought you would know that, you're usually on the ball.
It is if you use some common sense and football knowledge. You should come to the conclusion that there is no way we get relegated..We are only seven points above Ipswich, 9 points above Leicester, Southampton are already down and playing like they know it. level on points with West Ham, so it's not 0% chance.
I'll take that bet!
I say we'll be closer to the top end.
I’m sure it was said with tongue firmly in cheek. We're not in a relegation battle, christ.
You weren't around in 1974 were you?It is if you use some common sense and football knowledge. You should come to the conclusion that there is no way we get relegated..
Percentages are all BS - there's always some percentage [chance] that something will happen, but when you really think about it you should realise the above is right.
Good point actually. That might end up leaving us very mid-table.Let's see how it plays out.
Currently we're 13 points off 4th and 7 points ahead of 18th.
One of the reasons I don't think it'll change massively is once they're clear of any relegation threat I think we'll see a lot of players down tools through games that basically become meaningless.
Well, I hope so.I’m sure it was said with tongue firmly in cheek.
I wans't born yet.You weren't around in 1974 were you?
Spurs came in for him, and were offering him a better contract, more money, better goal bonus, he was informed of the approach by SAF but elected to stay at United.Never heard this story.
Was this after his injuries?
I'd worked that out.I wans't born yet.
This is a completely different situation, and if you truly believe we're fighting a relegation battle then so be it.I'd worked that out.
Quick summary.
Right up until it became mathematically impossible to stay up, people were still saying we couldn't be relegated, we were too good.
Long before the Law back heel most of us knew we were down, we were relying on other teams in form, to suddenly lose, they didn't, so we were relegated.
So I never say never, you only need a few injuries to key players, or those below you go on a winning streak, and you get left behind.
That performance against Liverpool should be the norm, it's not, if we go on a run like we did after the City game, we could be deeper in the fight.
How do you know it's a completely different situation ?This is a completely different situation, and if you truly believe we're fighting a relegation battle then so be it.
I refuse to accept it because it isn't true. You can tell me all the theories you want, but in about 10 games time you'll be forced to admit you were wrong.
Spurs came in for him, and were offering him a better contract, more money, better goal bonus, he was informed of the approach by SAF but elected to stay at United.
We're going through a tough patch is all, our team is of a higher level than at least 10 other teams in our league. There is no way we can finish in the bottom 3. It's crazy to think so.How do you know it's a completely different situation ?
In the last six games, 5 of the teams below us have a better match record than us, we've lost four of our last six
