Maths wasn't ever your strong suit?

Nah but common sense is, and if he scores 120 goals in the next 4 seasons(and if he keeps improving why wouldn't he?) he'll still only be 29/30 and unless he retires at that age, or quits to be Prime Minister i'd put a few bob on him getting the 10 remaining goals needed before he finally calls it a day. He might even hang around like a bad smell hoping to score penalties to achieve it ....

Then he doesn't only need 4 seasons, does he?

Can’t see another team chucking us 100m and matching his wages.

He Isn’t going anywhere.

I'd take £25m on current performances. And you do realise 80% of footballers move on for lesser wages don't you? Random figure obviously.

To buy a replacement we would need 100m though and that is the issue.

Probably factually correct if you use all players as loads of players contracts expire and have to drop down and take cuts but how many players leave for a pay cut with 4 years left on their current contract?

There’s probably only 10 clubs in world football who could think about buying Rashford and 5 of them are in the PL. PSG might be an option is Mbappe leaves.

Must admit I thought Rashford had turned a corner last year but this season he’s back to the player he was in the previous 2 seasons.

I'd be very surprised if he doesn't start next season at Bayern alongside Kane. Wages don't care.

Huh? A traffic cone destined for a skip would easily replace him on current form.

Might be somebody already at the club to replace him!

A top class forward is costing up around that sort of number now the prices aren’t coming down unless you can find lads with buyout clauses.

Even lads like Darwin Nunez and Hojlund are going for 70-80m after 1 decent season.

Shudder to think what the Georgian lad from Napoli would cost.

Weird you're so down on an academy player with plenty in the bank.
Yet you're nowhere near so tough on the waste of space and money that is mount

Nowt weird about it at all, always backed him previously even if quiet periods when many were suggesting it was time to bin him, but this season when he should be flying after last season(especially the amount of goals he scored) and a new contract safely banked his game has totally gone to shit, and he keeps making the same mistakes, I lost count of the amount of times he lost possession yesterday trying to be something he's not, and usually in dangerous areas, and he does the same in every game, if you know you're not in form(surely he knows that) just knock it off first touch and make yourself available, rinse repeat, and don't try and beat 2 or 3 players in a tight area when you haven't got the skillset to do it.

I've listened to dozens and dozens of former United players over the years that have said they didn't know whether they were coming or going in their first year at Old Trafford such is the magnitude of the club, so with that in mind I tend to cut new players some slack, it's that simple.

Think at this point even if he stays another 5 years Rashford will do well to even get to 200.

Think he’ll struggle to overhaul Rooney as he’s so up and down with his goal hauls. Obviously if he stays here all of his career then he may well do it. However, I would say he will be in prime for the next 5 years and he would need 25 a season.

I also think once he loses that little burst of pace he will become less effective.

Would be great for an academy product to be back to the top of the list though.

I’ve missed a few updates, hope this is accurate.

I'll have a sportsman's bet with you that he doesn't reach Ruud's total.
