Tend to agree with Van Gaal. The team performance was decent and on another day the result could have been a comfortable victory. The tempo of passing and movement was very good in the first 20-30 minutes. There was a lack of quality and end product in the final third, the crossing was awful (8 successful crosses from 38 attempts), but Mata, Hernandez and Smalling all had decent chances.

Yeah. I thought it was a further improvement on our performance's this season. As with the Club Brugge game though, need to be more clinical in front of goal. End product was often lacking but we created more than enough chances to score.
