Incomings: Mount, Onana, Hojlund, Bayindir, Reguilon, Evans, Amrabat.

Outgoings: De Gea, Fred, Telles, Elanga, Williams, Henderson

What are your thoughts on United’s summer transfer window?

I’d give it 6/10

We addressed the key positions but I think we are still 1 attacking player short and we didn’t solve the Maguire situation he needed to leave the club this summer.

It was okay. We have strengthened in key areas: keeper, midfield, striker, however not being able to offload Bailly, Maguire and Martial has hampered what could have been a brilliant window in allowing us to bring in a centreback and a more experienced striker.

It's an ok window if your sights are top 6.

If you want to compete for titles, very poor window.

I think early on they did well. I don’t personally rate Mount but lots do and United wanted him. Onana is a good GK and they needed to move on from De Gea so again can’t fault that. And Hojlund looks to be an exciting young player.

But the last week has been desperate stuff and that’s become a bit of a theme.

They did get rid of some dead wood though so they get some credit for that although more sell to shift.

It’s been a good window for me. We are still a work in progress as a club but ETH showed last season he has got us going in the right direction - and the signings will help us continue that. A solid 7/10.

Obviously there has been a lot of talk on here about Onana and Mount but I think they will come good.

Hojlund is obviously a bit of an unknown but he’s a talented young striker. There will probably be a settling in period but we will always create him chances, so it’s up to him to put them away.

Amrabat will be a great signing.

Reguilon was an emergency thing - he wouldn’t have been in our thoughts without our injuries but it’s an okay signing.

Don’t really know anything about Bayindir to comment.

We’ve also got rid of a few players and made a few quid. Shame we couldn’t sell some others but overall it’s not been bad.

So you're unsure about all the signings, but have given it 7?

We've signed a worse keeper with better distribution.
A player to fill the role of Bruno/Sancho
We are desperate for goals and sign an unknown boy with not a great scoring record
And then we scraped around the loan bins.

All the while City and Arsenal and to some degree Liverpool are buying top class players we are buying 2nd/3rd class players

What this window tells me is the Glazers have taken so money we basically shop in Primark.

What F is our scouting dept. And DoF doing, when they just buy people who have played for the manager. So again when the manager is sacked repeat, squad of players the new manager doesn't want we can't sell

I pray now the window is shut a sale is announced, if the Glazers stay I will give up.

The whole board needs changing

We're not West Ham, we're Man Utd. We should be challenging for titles. Before the window I think most people would say we're 5 players off a title winning side. We are still 5 players off. So how is it a good window?

Where is the building for the future, next year Casemiro needs replacing, so that's 2 CM needed for the first 11. They should be here now, in the bench, pushing.

Mainoo is going to be under huge pressure because he basically is our only hope in midfield this season

Not sure where I said I was unsure about all the signings? I think I was pretty positive about them all?

We’ve only signed Amrabat on loan because we weren’t getting in the funds from player sales. I think if we had sold McT we would have bought him outright.

Then the loan of Reguilon was an emergency, so I don’t think we’ve been shopping around the loan bins as you put it.

Other clubs have bought well but even then they have bought unknown quantities to a degree. Nunes did nothing at Wolves last year but City have bought him for £50m. Doku is a bit of an unknown as signings from the French league can be a little dodgy, ala Pepe for Arsenal. Kovacic is an okay signing. Gvardiol is the great one for me.

I think this narrative that ETH is only buying players he’s worked with is a little bit of nonsense. Casemiro, Hojlund, Malacia, Mount to name a few are players he hasn’t worked with. Also does it matter if he’s worked with them before if they get the job done? Martinez was fantastic for us last season. Antony is a question mark still but there is no doubting his talent. I know Onana is being put down on here but pretty sure he hasn’t been bought just because he played under ETH.

Amrabat did play under him but as a young player and has grown as a player since. Again ETH clearly appreciates him as a player now, not just because he played under him as as an 18/19 year old. It’s a lazy narrative to have a pop at ETH.

I'm definitely not having a pop a ETH. Another manager shafted

I think it’s been a pretty underwhelming window. I can’t see anything in it that will give us a chance to compete for league. Still unfortunately long of major trophy success.

The transfer has been a good one for United. United now has a striker having without have a one for last season, midfield is stronger - there is strength in depth and the club has signed a goalkeeper, who will bring confidence and add quality. A loan left back was a necessity due to injuries, I don’t understand the outcry. Think we’ll see Shaw at centre back and Reguilon at left back in the absence of Martinez, which push Maguire further down the pecking order. Not signing a young prospect at centre back because Maguire wouldn’t leave is my only real disappointment.

Deadwood has been sold. Selling all the deadwood in one transfer window was never going to happen, it will take two or three windows.

I fear for your health mate, getting stressed over a hobby is a young mans game.

Ignore the forums between matches, it's just wall to wall negativity, maybe go for a walk instead, talk to the birds, hug a tree, find a fresh cowpat and lay with your face in it for 10 seconds, or better still just punch a dodgy looking Frenchman(you'll be spoilt for choice there)every time you feel the stress levels rising. ;)

IT'S JUST A GAME MATE.

You think Mount has improved our midfield?
I think he will potentially improve it 100%. He’s not had a great start and he needs to improve but I think he will come good. It’s not like he was awful at Chelsea, yes towards the end he was poor in a dysfunctional team but in the few years before he was very good.

Doesn't seem like we're getting a transfer fee but I'm sure the club will be happy to get his wages off the books.

He's only signed a 1 year contract with them.

Giving him a new contract was another brain dead decision of the Woodward era, Bailly has been unlucky with injury during some important years in his development which meant he never really developed his game.

Another story that came out is we apparently made an offer to Sergio Ramos to join on a 1 year contract. He declined and has decided to return to Sevilla after a couple of seasons with PSG, he also turned down a big money offer from Saudi Arabia.

After Ramos declined our offer the club decided to offer Evans a 1 year deal as with the injuries they felt they needed that extra cover.
