TV Series/Shows you’re currently watching

The Lockerbie series is very good and interesting as it’s something I knew a little bit about but the show goes into a lot of the politics.

Started the penguin enjoying it so far
 
Not a TV show but just finished watching Ghost in the theatre. Was my Christmas present to Mum. And if you can find a venue near you showing it I highly recommend it. Was absolutely fantastic.
 
I watched the first of paradise and will go back.

Watching the Bear which is good, but stressful

Shogun I enjoyed.
 
Unforgotten is back on ITV1, started last night 9/2/25.
The whole series is on ITVx as well not sure whether to binge watch it or not.
The writing is brilliant, more twists than a mountain road.

Yeah have always enjoyed it. Was a bit dubious about the new female lead but by the end I think the partnership with Sunny did well in the end.

Looking forward to the new series.
 
I'm watching American Primeval.

Difficult to follow at first, but if you like violence, then this is for you
 
Recently finished Paradise. We found that consistently excellent. Everything about it is quality.

Midway through the second season of Severance. The last two episodes have ramped up the weirdness. Messes with your head.
 
I watched Paradise, I enjoyed it, didn't think it was stand out, but there was one episode I thought was excellent.

watch worthy for sure

Me and my wife called the culprit pretty early but the way it turned out was very twisty!

One of my fave shows and think the cast as a collective is great.
 
Finished Adolescence a great little show and should act as a wake up call to a lot of parents about how social media can impact your kids.

As far as I'm aware it wasn't based on a specific real life story but the stuff some young boys are being exposed to online is horrendous and a major problem. Schools are starting to get a bit better clued up on it and the influence people like the Tate brothers are having on young men and trying to address it but it needs parents to smarten up on it as well.

Finally started watching Day of the Jackal as well 3 episodes in and loving it so far although not sure I can take Eddie Redmayne seriously as a ruthless assassin.
 
MAFs Australia is currently getting me through night time feeds. First time I have watched it
 
Just watched the last episode of Mad Men after binging the 7 seasons in 2 months. Is 2 months classed a binge? Anyways, I really enjoyed it. The writing, character development and acting are all excellent. Sad that it’s now ended.
