TV Series/Shows you’re currently watching

Gave up on the house of dragon stuff after 1 season.

Not a HBO thing but keep hearing good reviews of Tulsa King

Usually give spin-offs a wide-berth as most are shockingly bad, a series too far! Would probably have watched H o D season 2 mind but wasn’t in a position to watch it on Sky when it was first shown, when it’s repeated i’ll probably watch it, certainly have no interest in Sky Go-ing it if it’s not

Tulsa KIng is a new one on me.

It’s got Stallone in it. Think it’s on paramount plus which is why I’ve not watched it yet.

Won’t be able to watch if it’s on Paramount+, not that I’d watch it if Stallone is in it, can’t be doing with his over-acting.

Got the first 5 episodes of D.o.t.J saved on my HD+ box with the 6th episode set to record in the wee small hours of Thursday.

Probably crack on with it tomorrow when I’m avoiding the United score from 14:00 till midnight.

Watched the first 4 episodes back2back on Saturday and really enjoying it so far.

It could have done without certain bits; good watch other than that.

Cobra Kai is back on Friday.
Always going to be needless filler when the series is circa 21 hours long and the filum it was based on only lasted for 90 minutes

Cobra Kai, huh

If you're adding needless fillers to a series/film, you're doing it wrong. I'd much rather have less episodes and the show be more fast paced and exciting. Let's face it nobody cares about his home life. Trying to build up any sort of empathy for a stone-cold killer doesn't work, at least not in most cases. They could have went for that if it was like the Sopranos and they had a lot more time to show you the character in various situations over a longer period of time, instead you're just left wondering what's the point?

Also, the MI6 agent is just so badly done.

Struggled to get into the current series of Cobra Kai.

Feels like it’s really stretching the limit of where the story could go.

First few series were a nice little nostalgia buzz

Think most seasons were worth the watch.

They've played it badly this time though with one season spread over 2 years or something stupid. That's really annoyed me, it's completely unecessary.

Second series of The Diplomat recently dropped.

Definitely worth a watch.

I've just started on Peaky Blinders.

Yeah enjoyed season 1 of The Diplomat, thought it was a bit slow to start with but picked up. Looking forward to season 2.

Someone recommended The Blacklist to me yesterday as a must watch, anyone seen it?

The Blacklist is a decent show but one of those where the early seasons were pretty good but they really dragged it on towards the end.

Don't think I ever finished it.

I really enjoyed The Blacklist. It's a change to the normal good guy always wins theme.

Try it out, you won't be wasting your time.

The Blacklist is brilliant, seen every episode, like most shows it maybe goes on a series too far, but defo one to watch

I've just started on Peaky Blinders.
Jealous of you there, wish I could start that from the beginning.

Not sure if I have mentiond it, losing my marbles a bit at the mo, Lincoln lawyer is a nice easy watch.

Yeah that was the thoughts of the person who recommended it, early seasons were very good but perhaps lost some spark towards the end.

Lincoln Lawyer is awesome, one of the very best shows on Netflix for me.

That's always a problem with these sort of shows it's very hard to sustain the quality especially when the idea is a bit far fetched it's hard to keep them going.

If it's getting good rating they'll keep making it and over time the quality really drops off, they never know how to end it and move on.

Does the quality drop off or are people just bored of it, they’ve maybe got a new must watch show to watch and focus more on
that instead

It’s a list, we know how many are on that list, he works his way through it in the order the FBI bring names to his attention, the show makers were not adding to that list to keep the show running

Had been looking forward to watching it for a while now, but after just watching the first episode of Dune:Prophecy not sure I will care if I never see another episode

Masterpiece of a performance from Mark Rylance as Cromwell in BBC’s Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light

He’s the stand out character in Bing on CBeebies as well

I'm watching Silo. The first season was quite good, kept me mildly interested.

Season two has started well with episode 1 being very good, but it's still very slow. I expected that in the first season, but they've got to pick up the pace.

Watched the second series of Squid Games. Not as good as the first season but still watchable

Watched Mary & George on Sky Atlantic, basically a back story to the reign of James I (James VI Scotland), historically correct if you accept the fact that most or royalty at that time were bi-sexual.
