Mad that the French league don't actually have a TV deal for next season currently.

If they're spending that sort of money you assume that they're staying at Carrington long term rather than looking to move.

Anyway this is great news a top quality training ground is essential and fair play to them getting this project off the ground quickly.

Should invite Ronaldo down for the grand opening once the works are done.

Not sure that's true, most reports say Carrington is way behind the times

It might be behind facilities built 8/10 years after the AON training complex was opened, but then it would be. wasn't going to be more modern was it. None story, United are always upgrading as was expected.

Why join a football forum with a porn star name?

Always wondered. Bit odd.

Scratch that... very odd.

He`s right, a lot of people still dont get the club needs a culture reset, in recent years weve had clueless idiots on the board, too much player power, stupid contracts given to average players and so on.

We need a reset of the fan base as well, far too many go running to mummy if we don't win every game 3-0

It's not the club I started supporting in the late 60's thats for sure.

I assume this me, because I'm not a fan of ETH. But I don't want us to win 3 - 0 every match. I do expect us play a brand of footbal that is enjoyable to watch. After all, that is the idea of the game.

Just because I don't believe in ETH, doesn't mean anything other than, I don't enjoy watching his football - last season, and end of first season.

It's nothing to do with wanting to win every competition and smash every team 3 - 0

Not aimed at anybody in particular mate, just a generalisation

I was brought up on the Doc's high octaneu up and at 'em football which is the way I'd lovw to see us play eveety game but it isn't practical, if we have to stink the place out now and again to get results nay worries, some just think that is beneath us.

I can see why we need to stink it out against City/Liverpool/Arsenal. Although Liverpool under Klopp did play into our hands a little, they have the game, we get them on the counter.

But not Brighton/Palace/west ham/wolves etc.

anyway, new season, new hope. Let's hope everybody learnt something last season and we can use it all to our advantage.

I don't really have a problem with the stadium name I don't think.

probably means more to match going locals

Hard to see the stadium project starting until he has a controlling stake in the club, especially if he's going to hold liability in terms of the debt outside of the club.

If it's a new stadium and we can to get a sponsors name to help pay for it then so be it but if they go for a refurbishment of the current ground then they can't sell the naming rights as no one is going to pay any attention to it.

I guess the bigger concern for the match going fans in a new stadium will be the pricing as a new stadium will mean new prices and it's likely a lot of people will get priced out and there also has to be concerns over how many season tickets will be made available in the new stadium.

Anyone paying for the naming rights would be silly. Only makes sense if it's a new stadium.

No one will ever call it anything but Old Trafford or Theatre of Dreams. No one calls the Nou Camp the Spotify stadium

The Spotify deal is also a shirt deal and they get to plaster their logo all over Barcelona stuff which is where the value is.

If Utd went down that road they'd probably build it in as part of the main sponsorship package to get that to as big a figure as they can with the next deal.

Barca's Spotify deal is worth 70m euro's a year which includes the stadium as they are currently not playing at the Nou Camp the deal reduces to 65m euro a season. The stadium naming rights aren't worth a huge amount.

seem to be having the same problems as previous seasons in getting rid of players.

Nobody wants the donkeys, probably because of their stupid wages.
