The first Grand Slam of the year is underway. Who do we fancy to win the the Australian Open?

I think will see one last sustained run from Djokovic.

Oz is his favoured slam and he's had a nice break to recuperate.

Think he'll miss a lot of tournaments this year go big for the slams and then retire.

Yeah, hard not to have Djokovic in the conversation, but he's 37 now. Maybe age will finally start to catch up with him a bit.

Sinner is the favourite.

I think Sinner has to be the favourite. There are no difficult matches for him to get to the final. On the other hand Alcaraz would have to be Djokovic, Zverev to win. I think Zverev is probably next favourite.

Not sure who will come through between Sabalenka, Gauff and Swiatek. Before it started I thought it would be Gauff. I am bot sure now

Jack Draper beats Alcaraz to reach Indian Wells final and become a top ten player for the first time.

I think he’s getting a lot fitter now, there were question marks about his fitness to go the distance in a tournament, however this was a very impressive win. Hopefully he can continue against Rune in the final.

Indian Wells is often called the fifth grand slam so this would be a huge statement of his potential.
