Tuchel and Howe have both been faced with some pretty tough questions in recent press conferences related to the people that own their football club and what they get up to outside of football.

Should football managers really be asked these questions?

Do they get asked these questions because the club owners won't engage with the press on these topics apart from very carefully worded statements put out by lawyers?

Tuchel has maybe had it a bit easier because his owner is currently under government sanctions and is on the way out of the club whereas Howe's bosses have just appointed him and are just in the door.

Should Howe really be getting questioned over the behaviour of his owners in their country where our PM is currently visiting trying to secure vital oil supplies for the UK and where we have been happy to sell weapons?

Once you take the money from these people are you essentially fair game to be asked about them and what they represent? That's kind of how I see it
