Could he be the signing Spurs hoped they would get? He certainly did well for Sevilla but not so well for Spurs.

It could be a good short term signing for us but very dubious about his defending. Anywhoo, let’s see how he does!

You sure about that? He got as many assists in two years as the greatest fullback that has ever lived has in the last decade for United.

Shaw 3 goals and 23 assists in 11 full Premier League seasons
Reguilon 2 goals and 10 assists in 2 full Premier League seasons

Well yeah, only fecking idiots think Shaw is the greatest ever fullback.
Easy tiger, no need to start with the personal insults when someone has a differing opinion.

Also stats only really tell you half a story, he could have passed to someone and they run 50 yards and smash in a screamer.

I also missed the memo where full backs were solely judged on goals and assists? Shaw is clearly the better defender and overall full back.

Kinnell SR, you must be desperate to be offended if you took that as personal, maybe get somebody else to read it to you, just a suggestion ....

Fully aware how stats work thanks, it's the worse thing that has happened to football in the last 20 years, I blame the Americans ....

There's a lot of things you missed mate, and where have I suggested Reguilon is a better defender?

Just stating that I think Shaw is the better overall defender. :)

Did well first half but didn’t really get forward in the second half.

I'd take him over Shaw any day of the week, starting to look like the player I wanted us to sign a few years back till Madrid wanted that laughable buy-back clause inserted.

Burnley 0-1 Man Utd

Good again but looks like the games have caught up to him, hopefully it was cramp that he couldn’t run off rather than an injury.

He’s been quietly impressive in most of his games to be honest. Wouldn’t be averse to him starting at left back for a few games and keeping Shaw at centre back.

I thougth we looked much better down the left with Shaw to be honest

I'd start him on Saturday against Bournemouth.

Not sure how much fit he is.

Not relevant at all of course, but I noticed last night, how thin his legs are, very unfootballer like

Ah now I can see how you didn’t see how good of a game Hojlund had - you were looking at Reguilon’s legs!

I didn't say he didn't have a good game, I said I expect goals from a striker.

he played well

It's a tricky one because this lad will not be at the club for the second half of the season unless Malacia or Shaw suffer an injury setback.

I have no intention of watching the game from the weekend but I hear he was dreadful.

he was awful, I thought he was pretty bad in the game everyone said he was excellent though.

Just watched the match of the day highlights and he didn’t stand out as being particularly terrible.

He's really bad at defending, and weak, and slow.

We need to put Shaw at LB

I think we are seeing the reason why Spurs were willing to loan him to us.

He'll be sent back in January.

I thought he had done okay since he came back into the squad, we look more clued in attacking down the left when he plays that's for sure, and for those that say he can't defend it's never held Luke Shaw back.

we've triggered the break clause, allowing him to go back to Spurs

Not surprised he was last minute short term cover.

The club did well negotiating this break clause, I suspect Spurs will look to shift him again in January.
