He just wants them up to up his contract offer a bit, nothing to see here.
 
No chance of this one happening. As 7 said this is all part of his contract negotiations.
 
I read a report he would want to be on £260k a week or something stupid.
 
United have made an opening bid of about £32 million, according to James Ducker.
 
Is he worth the 35-40 we eventually end up paying for him. If this is true. Considering his age I think it would be better if we went for Otamendi.
 
Can play CB, RB and DM. Van Gaal likes his versatile players. Certainly not against signing him, wouldn't be too bothered if we didn't though. Someone of his experience is certainly what we lack at the back.
 
If he does genuinely want to join, which I'd be very skeptical about, we should pay whatever it takes including 260k a week wages if that's the request. Second best centre back in world football in my eyes behind Thiago Silva. Ultimately though I feel he is using us to get a better deal.
 
As we saw with Di Maria last summer though, Real seem very reluctant to give in to some players' demands. Ramos case seems similar to Di Maria a year ago.

Manchester United target Ramos, 28, agreed fresh terms after thrashing out his future with Bernabeu big wig Perez in China, according to Spanish paper Marca.

Talk of a move to United exploded after the La Liga giants opted against hiking his pay packet.

But it is claimed Ramos, who is set to replace Iker Casillas as captain, wants to retire with Real.

And Perez reportedly decided to meet Ramos' wage demands after his heart-to-heart with the Spain international and his brother and agent, Rene.
