Juventus apparently interested but need to sell Chiesa to raise the money.

Would be happy to take Chiesa as part of any deal. He has struggled with injuries for a little while now but still a good squad player if he can stay fit - it’s whether we want to take that risk on him though.

He's another left sided forward we have plenty of options in that position and the injuries are a major red flag for me.

The second coming of Sancho next season?

Still think he will go if the right offer comes in for Utd and Sancho.

A ruse to raise the fee?

I think it’s recognition the current situation helps no one, I think if clubs came with decent offers Utd would be willing to let him go.

I think it's a good thing. There is a player in there and I don't believe ETH would have conceded to him after signing a new contract. He won't be what we signed him for but he'll be a good squad option.

Translation:

PSG made a contractual proposal to Jadon Sancho. The positions are close together.

From Parisian sources, the MU winger is extremely excited by the project presented by PSG

It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will wish to release their player and at what price.

Pretty sure we'll be happy to release him if they are willing to pay a sensible price.

Happy? they`ll be doing cartwheels just for getting his extortionate wages off the books.

PSG could be a good place for him at this stage of his career.

The spot on the left is free with Mbappe gone and it's where he apparently wants to play. They've got 2 very good attacking full backs which would help him.

Replacing Mbappe with Sancho is like swapping a Rolls Royce for a Robin Reliant, If PSG are happy then great.

I`d be surprised if theres any truth in it though.

I'd rather shift Antony on before Sancho.

Says it all that nobody is in for him

Replacing Mbappe with anyone is a downgrade he's the best in the world in his position and the second best in that position is also at Real Madrid and isn't going to come as a replacement.

PSG are being linked with a lot of players they were going for the Georgian lad from Napoli (Kvaradona), Leao from Milan and now Sancho from Utd. Sancho would be the cheapest in terms of fee but likely the most expensive in terms of wages and is probably the their 3rd choice.

Sancho and Antony both need to go if we have the chance to move 1 of them this summer you have to take it.

we cannot lose both without replacing one of them, or we leave ourself with Amad, Garnacho and Rashford to cover 2 places all season.

If both went then yeah a replacement probably needs to come in but there's also Mount to consider as a wide player, possibly Bruno and possible 1 of the centre forward could end up playing wide in some games.

Don't forget Pellistri ;)

With Europa games next season there might be a chance to bring someone up from the academy.

Won't happen. They want us to pay over the odds for Ugarte and will want to pay nothing for Sancho. They're a bunch of dicks. They're just wasting our time. If they really wanted Sancho, it would be done by now.

I think both deals could happen and kind of balance each other out where both parties back down to get the deals they want.

It just becomes an accounting box ticking exercise to make all the FFP bits tie up and as long as the transfer fees aren't massively inflated UEFA aren't going to be interested.

We pay you 40m for Ugarte and you pay us 35m for Sancho (his fee will be lower because of his wages). Those figures are roughly what both clubs need to break even on those players from an FFP point of view neither can really expect to make an FFP profit on these players.

A swap deal of sorts would be ideal in this scenario. Both get who they want ultimately.

If both teams want the players enough I think it’ll eventually happen. Could be one of those that goes near to deadline day.

Translation:

As exclusively reported, Jadon Sancho always wanted to join PSG, but as already stated a few days ago, nothing has changed since then.

PSG, via its oral offer, proposed a salary of 17M € gross/year to the English striker.

We will see if the situation evolves in the coming days.

I think this will ultimately happen and could probably pave the way for the Ugarte deal to get back on track.

I guess it's got to happen to bolster our midfield. Unfortunately it will mean we see more of Antony

You'd still say Antony is 3rd choice for the right wing spot behind Garnacho and Amad if Sancho leaves.

Would leave us 4 options out wide with Rashford, Garnacho, Amad and Antony.

Then you have Mount and Pellistri.

I think we can lose Sancho without replacing him.

oh yes, one of Sancho or Antony needs to leave to strengthen the middle. We have enough cover there, we don't need to replace them

I'd like Antony to go first, but I guess nobody wants him.
