They looked lovely at times going forward last night, Bellingham was excellent. When they click they will be awesome.

Defensively! might be there for the taking

Yeah 1-1 Madrid had a player sent off in the last minute, horrible tackle by Mendy a really stupid thing to do.

Mallorca were the better side second half score a lovely header off a set piece then really frustrated Madrid.

Madrid looked like a team still working a few things out they were stupidly overloading the left side was like they had 6 players on 1 wing. The combination of those attacking players was good but they were all so close together and Mallorca managed to crowd them out.

Conditions looked tough was a night game but they still had to stop for drink breaks so I'm guessing it was roasting in Mallorca.

In the game against Atlanta, at points they lost the ball in the opposition third, And four attackers just stood there while Atlanta attacked.

As I mentioned, they look great going forward, but defensively, they are there to be shot at.

I think it'll take them a few weeks/months to work it out.

Ancelotti isn't wed to 1 system he'll tweak it to what he has.

Yesterday it looked like a 4-2-3-1 but the front 4 had freedom to go wherever they wanted but when you give players that freedom when you lose it you are in trouble. The 2 centre mids and the back 4 didn't really push forward and I think that's how he'll look to play in you'll get the occasional overlap from the full backs but I don't think they'll be going to high up the pitch.

Big thing for Madrid this season is they've got Courtois back and Militao fit again.

I do wonder if in some of the bigger games in the league and in Europe we might see Bellingham drop back into a midfield 3 and play a little bit deeper.

Not had a good week, battered by Barca, battered in the press and now this shameful behavior at the ballon d'or.

How disprespectful to their countryman Rodri that all the talk today is about Madrid and Vini.

Pathetic.

Especially as Rodri is a worthy winner.

Doesn't this happen every year the only people that turn up to that event are the winners?

I dont think so, I remember seeing Messi and Ronaldo there.

They did win team, and Ancelotti won manager. It's pathetic

The whole event is pathetic.

The player that deserved it most was Carvajal.

Rodri deserved it the previous year when City did the treble.

Carvajal won the League, European Cup and the Euros.

Rodri won the league and the euros

I just find the whole thing around individual awards in team sports weird they are taken far to seriously by some people.

Yeah never watched an award ceremony and never will. Even if a United player I still wouldn’t really bat an eyelid.

Rodri shouldn’t have won the award purely for tucking his shirt into his shorts!

Must admit I didn’t realise how petty Madrid were being until about an hour ago.

That’s a proper wobbler and so typically Madrid.
