Our bunch of lemons versus an in-form Newcastle side with Isak in red hot form - what could possibly go wrong?

Hopefully they arrive a bit to over confident and cocky.

Hit a good run the of form and Isak is banging them in for fun. Tonali and Guimares are starting to work together well in the midfield as well.

Utd have to be ready for the physical battle that comes they’ll be looking to batter us with hard running and we have to match it.

Line up wise I guess we wait on De Ligt but no one else is expected to be back.

Onana

Yoro De Ligt Maguire

Dalot Casemiro Mainoo Malacia

Amad Hojlund Garnacho

On corners first one we face I would be telling everyone to start a shoving match make the ref get involved.

On the corner you can almost guarantee he blows and gives us a foul. It sets a tone and makes sure the ref is watching for pushing on our players.

Like it or not someone needs to go in around the keeper and clear some space for him. Again push some people out of there.

Can we be more aggressive leave 2 or 3 up forcing them to leave 3 or 4 back? I don’t think we can we are so weak in the air we probably need the numbers back.

You’d expect United to lose this one… Which probably means you guys will put in a huge performance and get the win.

I don’t usually say or feel this way but I’m worried about the game. Think United will be embarrassed.

They’ve always been an odd bunch just when you start expecting the worst they suddenly turn it on.

Let’s hope tonight is another one of those nights.

You do fear for us with that midfield when you compare how good Bruno and Tonali have been for Newcastle in recent weeks.

Expecting the worst, hoping for the best!

Zero creativity from those wing back options as well.

Just don’t see where goals are coming from unless someone does some individual magic

That line up doesn’t have the physicality or the will to win Erkisen will be a passenger.

Martinez can’t play this system he’s not the only one far from it but it’s exposed his weakness to the absolute full.

Good of VAR to decide they can’t be arsed looking at the handball.

This is nothing to do with formation it’s just lads who aren’t up to it against a side that’s miles better than us.

This is the worst I've seen us in a few years

Their second, Martinez two seasons ago wins that. His heart isn't in this team any more. Bin him

Good that he’s made the sub early.

Totally shameful reaction from the fans in the ground. Can all have a moan on here but in that ground you stick up for your own.

It could have been any one of them who got that hook
