Premier League 2024/25: Man United vs Liverpool - Sun 1st Sept - 16:00 KO

The opposite could be said of you, you like to support that guy for some insane reason. He's utter garbage. Half of the times we give possession away it's him with stupid long kicks he can't do on his best day. Then he can't stop anything to boot.

You expect any half decent keeper to save that but the defending was the problem

I can support criticism of Onana but not when it’s just criticising for the sake of criticising. The second goal was so not on Onana.

A certain you know who saves it all day long. Onana is useless at saving balls that are low.

So we are saying he didn’t make a world class save on either of their goals?

Just shut up shop and don’t get embarrassed now.

I don't care if you think I have it in for him or not.

There's going to be a lot of noise re: Ten Hag

of course there will be questions but that Liverpool team on paper is better than us.

They’ve turned up and proven it.

That second is a regulation save for most top keepers. It's something they practise every single day. It's a standard save he saves it and you're not raving about a save he's made its an expected one.

Tough game, but the difference on the pitch should not be this large. We are not even in the game.

No, a good keeper saves you points.

No point have a keeper who only saves the bread and butter.
Alisson made a brilliant save to stop any hope of united getting momentum

I haven’t watch the replays but on first watch Diaz catches it well and keeps it down.

You can practise all you want if the striker does his bit right there isn’t much a keeper can do.

If he’d shifted his weight to get back down for that it would have been an incredible save.

De Gea certainly had those saves in his locker but I’m not sure he gets it eithe.

EtH losing the crowd with the substitution of Garno for Daillo. It should have been Rashford for Diallo.

Garnacho has done nothing in this game.

Either player could have come off.

Suspect some of it was wanting to keep a bit of experience on the pitch

Rashford easily the better player today should have two assist

zirkzee has wasted 2 good chances in this game.

Liverpool and United have both had 3 shots on target. Both have had 4 shots off. United more possession.

Onana is an issue.

As is a striker

While Toney is in Saudi for the price of Zirkzee

I hope they are watching.

Easy to blame the manager and he deserves some but that midfield needs addressing.

At the end of the day, the manager is responsible

Especially when you're the second best in the league

He is but if you don’t give him the tools to succeed he won’t.

That midfield needed to be strengthened this summer and the club haven’t done it.

Ugarte is going to need to make a massive difference

As IDFD established, a better striker/keeper this game is level

But neither of those stops that liverpool have been way better
