Premier League 2024/25: Man United vs Leicester - Sun 10th Nov - 14:00 KO

Waiting for the comments about ETH being able to win this game too.... rofl

Obviously, not. He's gone.... oh he's gone. Thank everything.

Up to 13th nose bleeds all round, well in Ruud.
Ugarte’s best game, Rashford and Hojlund struggling again.

Solid performance. We looked like a team for the first time in a very long time.

This is more like the level of our team.

ETH has been making us look like a joke for far too long. Good riddance.

I really think you need to move on and stop bringing up ETH in every thread it’s almost every post.

Little fact last time ETH faced Leicester at home he won 3-0.

Haven’t seen the game will try and catch up on MOTD tonight.

I will bring up ETH when I choose to. Don't like it? Don't reply.

Although I know where your real anger is coming from, and it's pretty funny, top poster guy. Lol.

Don't worry I'm not going to take your spot.

As JSP posted ETH also won 3-0 last time out against em.

Nothing has changed except we've converted the chances.

I said he needed to go so not sure what you are getting at.

Just think it’s time to move on from it.

Show a bit of respect for what the bloke did 2 cups in 2 seasons but in the end the league form wasn’t good enough and he’s gone.

That's a pretty big difference.

You know yourself that was a much better team display than we've been putting in for a very long time. I'm reading good comments everywhere right now about our midfield.

4pts off third - very congested behind the top two. A couple of early wins for Amorim and things will be looking a lot rosier.

Pleasant surprise when I checked my team @02:30 this morning, was sure i’d stripped him of the Captaincy on Friday
So pure fluke then! Lucky you.

My captain choices are usually bad. I'd do much better if I just did cookie cutter Haaland team all season, but what's the point in that! Might as well not bother playing.

Bout time I had some luck, most weeks my top points scorer is somebody I’d benched from the week before.
One week my bench players scored 47 points, and the 11 chancers on the pitch scored me 29

I disagree massively. We scored two brilliant goals and got a deflected goal. Our xg was 0.8 yesterday. Our second lowest all season. The least creative we've been all season except in the game against Villa where we accepted a 0-0 draw.

This talk about a brilliant performance is back to the result orientated thinking i've spoke about for a while. It wasn't a good performance it was a performance with moments of individual brilliance. By no means the best performance we've seen in a while.

Ugarte is starting to cover up our shortcomings in midfield a bit. But as ETH said it was going to take him time to get up to speed having had no preseason and then keep flying out to South America.

I agree the performance wasn't exactly of an elite level, I didn't go so far as to say it was brilliant. I know it wasn't, but it was a huge step in the right direction. We seemed like a team again for some parts of the game and some of the best players were midfielders. Under ETH we were always quite poor in this area and I feel in football when that part of a team plays well so can the rest. You at least have something to work with.

Is there still a lot of work to be done? Of course. Would I be happy with this long term? No.

I just think Ruud has started to build up players confidence again and that helps the team on the whole. I'm actually very curious after what he managed to do in such a small time, as to what would have happened next. I guess we'll never know.
