It's clearly weakening our attack, an area which we are not exaclty firing in. I can't see the sense in it. There are no easy games in this league and Mazraoui being on the right helps nobody - he has no chemistry with anyone. Dalot should be at right back to build more with Amad and Garnacho. it's that simple in my mind. It’s the sensible choice a lad making his debut you put him in his best position. Dalot has done a good job in that position before and up against Adama I want my stronger defender which is Dalot.
Hard to see what the plan is here for creating chances with no striker we can’t cross the ball and it’s unlikely we get many counter attack opportunities.

What you should be looking at is how effective Rashford is playing with Dalot down that side. They had a lot of games together last season and the outcome was not good. How many games have Dalot and Amad played together?
Maz being right back helps him and whoever plays left back will be a weak point for us.
Adama is a huge threat on the counter I think putting our better defensive full back against him makes sense.
Bruno needs to bury that chance.

I doubt it would be any worse.Would it be any better with Maz? I doubt it as Maz wouldn’t be providing the overlap Rashford craves.
I think a smarter winger would look to pull very wide and draw the full back out to him rather than just sit inside which is what Rashford does.
I doubt it would be any worse.
But you would have Dalot's crossing and overlap on the right. Which he's very good at.
Putting it in the danger area would be enough. A cross doesn't need to be in the air either. It's the threat he carries and the stretching of teams that's important.Crossing the ball to who though?
