Premier League 2024/25: Man City vs Man United - Sun 15th Dec - 16:30 KO

Amorim is one lucky coach, because let's be honest the best we deserved there was a draw and with barely anything created we have absolutely stolen that.

Ha love it beating the cheats at the Emptyhad, You always have a chance with Amad he never gives up, Rashford wouldn’t have chased those balls down he thinks he’s beyond all that.

That was an unbelievable finish. Amad won the pen and scored. Been our best player all season. Sign him up!

It’s one of those goals you’ll be watching a replay on over and over again!

Overall it was a poor game but sometimes you just have to stay in the game and you can get rewarded.

Amad is just an absolute gem. Took him a while to get a look in but now he’s our biggest threat by a mile.

He really hasn't. Think some have forgotten his output and his age.

He was having a good season.
He wasn't, he was shooting all the time, making poor decisions.
Anyway, if they've leaked the team, or been dicks in training, they need dropping.
These players need to learn the club comes first

It was taking me a while to get served at the bar. Watching us put two past City was ample compensation.

Too buzzing to comment constructively. Feck yeah!

Well well well. `looks like we can win games without Rashford and Garnacho.
Fairly sure everyone knows we can. Doesn't mean we should drop them for a tiff. Good management...I remember many fuming when ETH dropped Garnacho and Rashford last season for things they'd put out on social media. I stayed true and criticised it.

A shame others can't stay true to themselves.

However it was again another poor performance. But we got out of jail. Stop being result orientated people ffs. Call it how it is instead of thinking good result means good performance.

Missed the game finally got 5 minutes to turn the Tv on as we went 2-1 up.

Instantly turned it off again as didn’t want to jinx things.

As for the two who were dropped if they aren’t pulling their weight or not behaving properly then this is the only action the manager has.

Somethings are more important than 3 points in a derby if you can trust these players to prepare properly for this game how can you trust them to prepare properly for any game.

Was going to have an early night but now I’ve got to stay up for MOTD2. We better be on first

What are you talking about? Just because Rashford and Garnacho got dropped and we win the game? No one said it was a good game. The way we are playing no one expected anything but City to win especially after we conceded. But we did not get battered and Onana did not have to keep us in the game. We had a game plan and we stuck to it. City did not get a sniff in the second half and I think they never even had a shot on target in the second half. We had better chances to score and that Rasmus one was a penalty too and VAR should have given it.

What?

The last time we played City in a competitive game we outplayed them all day. The last time Amorim played them his side destroyed them.

They have won 1 of 11.

It is more nonsense. You believe cos we won it was good. If we lose bad. Judge the performance not the result.

But we also got lucky. We were 1-0 down in the 88th minute. The performance wasn't good. Amad bailed us out. Nothing like the FA Cup final where we controlled the game.

Amad isn't going to bail us out every week. A great win. A shit performance.

It was a good performance in as far as they did what they set up to do and restrict City.
We created a few chances
But it wasn't a good game.

This squad needs a massive overhaul

A team in the 13th vs the team in the 5th and away at their stadium. The quality of football was never going to be good but we did what we had to do and we had the better chances to score. Amorim made a very brave call and dropped two players and the win has vindicated that he is the boss and the players cannot get away with not giving 100 percent all the time.
