Nowt to do with excuses, 15 days before the match you are being ubber negative about the outcome, me, mwah, if we don't win I'm quietly comfident we won't get humiliated - the actual result won't change our thinking before the game.

3-0 to United tomorrow, be one of those "where did they pull that performance from" days

He's so weird. Why has he captained McTominay? A player he usually doesn't even start. I smell some more grief for this.

Surely it should be Evans.
 
Cas is at centre-back. So, no. I would try McTominay there - it couldn't go any worse.

Biggest worry for me is Casemiro is really bad at timing tackles, it's 100% guaranteed he gives away a penalty at some point in these games at CB.
 
It's probably the pressure of keeping up with City for them. They're looking a bit rattled.

We do look good actually. Let's not get too carried away though.
 
Onana positioning so far this match is not good. He's improved but I don't think he's not good enough at actual goal keeping
 
Casemiro kept Havertz on there, so he's going to get the shit for everything again. Yet isn't a CB.

He's been playing football long enough to understand the basics and realise that he's playing everyone onside. AWB should never get beaten to the ball by Trossard.

This is top level football though and against a very good Arsenal team. I think being asked to perform there isn't fair considering he has like 4-9 games in that position in his entire career. Sometimes you just can't get the hang of something, and I think our last game was proof enough he should never be played there again.
 
We've done alright I think. Compared to recent performances.
Need to upgrade Hojlund this summer
 
Another embarrassing goal conceded and pretty clueless how to create chances, Arsenal aren’t even having to try hard so far.
 
I actually think we looked better without Bruno, a good team performance. Best of the season so far

Least it wasn’t a mauling.

ETH set us up really well today with Amrabat shielding in there but a silly error by Casemiro cost us their goal.

I thought Amad was very good and confident so think he is the one real positive to take from todays game.

Hopefully we can beat Newcastle to take the race for Europe to the last day but not sure if being in the Conference League would be a positive or super depressing.
 
I’ve not been caught in rain like that for a long time, it was biblical. Places in Salford are like an Olympic pool.

It’s hard when we don’t have Fernandes in there as well, he’s the one that can pick a pass to the front line.

I really like Garnacho but like Neville was saying in commentary you’re never really sure what he’s going to do!
 
I can't believe that I'm taking positives out of a 1 - 0 home defeat but I thought amrabat and mctominay made us at least appear harder to break down. I'm just gutted that our so called better players such as garnacho failed to deliver today, as the outcome could just maybe have been a bit different. Am I clutching at broken straws!!!!?
