I really dont understand how anybody can support this manager any longer. It's madness.

Dalot, casimero, hojlund, Eriksen, amrabat, Antony, all play internationally.

More to the point, how many of the palace team do?

3 of them can’t even move (Evans, Casemiro and Eriksen), 1 of them Wan-Bissaka is terrible on the ball.

Pretty sure all 4 goals have been gifted to them in one way or another.

My point is this group of players cannot be expected to play at this level there are so many weaknesses that can be exploited.

I just think this game is one where you have to look at the team on paper and say this result and performance is not surprising. It’s a cobbled together XI and with and without the ball it’s been a disgrace but individual mistakes by senior players have been very costly.
 
We could probably do with a year out of Europe. Get a lot of the dross out and have a compact squad under a new manager.

Obviously would hate to see us out of Europe but at the moment it seems unlikely we will even get into the Conference League.

How do you get rid of them though? What club is going to want any of these players.

We can shrink the squad right down but people need to buy these players.

We need to acknowledge this squad of players does not have the quality to take us forward. It's not just the manager or just the players. It is a combination of both.
 
Sorry to say but Casemiro has a face you just want to punch. Another unlikeable player. He looks like he doesn’t care. He probably doesn’t in all honesty,

They are very lucky to get into the national team, which is more a reflection of the lack of talent in their positions.

Spot on here! The United players are overrated for the most part and there’s really only 3 that should be kept. The rest should be sold.

That’s always been a sticking point for us and it’s because we give stupid wages for average players, then when you try and move them on the offers just aren’t there.

We need Saudi to go nuts in the summer and offer us money for Casemiro, Varane etc.

Oh I acknowledge this squad is absolutely merde.
Not many I would keep.
But I do think under a decent coach they wouldn't be this bad.
Reality is, a lot of these players are here for a couple of years. So we need a coach who can do something with them.
 
I think 8th is an achievement with this lot! We’ve been outplayed in so many games this season.

Varane’s contract is up at the end of the season so he’s gone as is Martial.

Casemiro has 2 years left and Eriksen and AWB both have 1 year left.

If we are out of Europe all I wonder what happens to the wages. Rumours are no CL means a 25% cut to your wages if there’s no Europe at all does that go even higher?

That’s the same view that’s been taken with every manager since Sir Alex. The players are simply not good enough. They are where they are because honestly that’s their level.

Ah yeah can see that now he’s on the list of expiring contracts. I doubt him leaving for free will have much impact on FFP and will get his wages off the books. Same with Martial.

Eriksen and Casemiro are done, they should move to a less intense league. They can probably still be effective but in this unforgiving league they just don’t cut it anymore.

If I am being brutal I am only keeping Martinez, Shaw, Maguire, Mainoo, Garnacho and Hojlund out of the whole squad. The rest I can definitely take or leave. I would probably throw in Amad as I don’t think he’s been given the full opportunity to show what he’s about.
 
Look at where the players end up when they do leave.
 
oh well another shit night we’ll be very lucky to win another game this season and the final will be humiliating

You have to wonder if casemiro is keeping himself for the copa America in the summer
 
Anyone who mentions dropping or selling Bruno again should be forced to watch that game over and over on repeat.

That's what I read as well I thought at least martinez would be back. Was he not training with Argentina at the last international break?
