Games coming thick and fast.

Utd are currently 7 points behind Spurs in 3rd with a game in hand a win would be a huge boost after the disappointment of yesterday.

Spurs have a few injuries looks like both Kulisevski and Richarlison will both miss the game.

For Utd maybe we'll have Martial fit for the bench and Eriksen may be over his illness.

In terms of starting XI I suspect it'll be similar to yesterday with McTominay in for Fred.

Spurs play 3-4-3 and want to hit on the break so they're setup perfectly to cause us a lot of problems.

Lets hope for another Ronaldo out of nowhere hat trick.

Ronaldo's two best performances came against Spurs last season as Utd took the win home and away.

De Gea
Elanga Varane Shaw Malacia
Casemiro McTom
Antony Eriksen Garnacho
Rashford
2-1 to United, Ronaldo to come on as a late substitute and score a penalty in the 97th minute after a 5 minute VAR delay, and then another 5 minute delay after Conte is sent-off for headbutting the VAR monitor.

They're ahead of us now as a team, so I think anything from this game will be good. But we really need the 3 points. We need an early goal to get the scoring problem off our back, if we do I think we'll go and win. The longer until we score the less likely we are to get anything

We've beaten Arsenal and Liverpool at home so no reason why we shouldn't expect a win in this one.

Spurs are a decent side but like us they've got weaknesses that can be exploited. We just need to be mindful of the counter attack threat Spurs have as that's what they'll be looking to exploit to get goals.

We've won 3 of the last 4 against them and both teams are in fairly similar form.

First goal is huge as both these sides are setup to counter attack you don't want to be pushing to many men forward and leaving gaps in behind against either of these attacking line ups.

Be interesting to see how Ryan Sessegnon gets on tonight, he looked a potential superstar when he was 16/17 and I was desperate for United to sign him, but for whatever reason he hasn't kicked on, still only 22 so he's still got time I guess.

Spurs played Arsenal and didn't look like they belong on the pitch.

3-1 United.

De Gea

Dalot Varane Martinez Shaw

Casemiro Fred

Anthony Bruno Sancho

Rashford

Surprised Fred keeps his spot after 2 very poor performances.

They’ve started well but you have to score when you are on top.

We really lack a threat in the air it is almost pointless crossing the ball.

We've been good for the first 25 minutes. Lloris keeping them in it.

Probably the most dominant 25 we've put in. Got to get a goal.

That hit from Casemiro was so close to perfection.

Fred is having a game. Just get a bloody goal to go with it.

16 shots in the first half!?!

Playing well and recovering the ball even better. Everything but a goal. Need Jadon to stop taking the safe option and run at the defender.

The way we’ve played this should be over but again we just haven’t finished them off with the killer blow.

Also, what is up with these refs? Why hasn’t he stopped it straight away for the head injury to Dalot.

18 shots in the first half. More than we've had in any game so far this season.

A shame we can't put one of em in the back of the net.

Spurs don't look a good side. In fact they look the worst side we've played this season. Don't get the media hyperbole regarding them. 9 behind the ball and hope Kane or Son can make something happen.

Been a brilliant performance so far but just lacking that cutting edge. Spurs are a threat on the break but if we play like this again in the second half then we have to score.

Martinez is the defender we’ve been craving since Vidic and Rio - he is brilliant.

Clear mistake by the ref, he blew immediately for Dier.

Our passing in the final third needs to be quicker otherwise Spurs have 8-9 players behind the ball.

Same again second half but with better finishing.

The Butcher has not given Kane a sniff, and this is giving Varane confidence to get tight to his man too.

Front 2 doesn’t work for them they look much more dangerous with Kulusevski. The extra man in midfield is giving them nothing.

Really enjoyable to watch first half best I’ve seen us play in ages we’ve absolutely battered a side for 45 minutes cant think of many times we’ve said that in the last few years.

1-0 Fred

Massive deflection we’ve earned that bit of luck
