Manchester United's Reserves have confirmed a pre-season friendly will take place against Bray Wanderers on 20 July.

The young Reds will travel across the Irish Sea to face the League of Ireland side at the Carlisle Grounds with the game kicking off at 14:15 BST.

Warren Joyce's squad came agonisingly close to retaining the Barclays Under-21 Premier League title last term but were beaten 2-1 in the final by Chelsea.

The Reserves also visited Ireland in July 2013 and faced Waterford United in a friendly, winning 2-1 with goals by James Wilson and Jack Barmby, who has since joined Leicester City.
