I'd agree with that to an extent. We should have been more arrogant and confident in our own game and gone to Anfield and asked more questions of them. It does feel like an opportunity missed.
The flip side of it is that a Liverpool win today would have really kick started their season. Nullifying them today just frustrates them, keeps them 7 points behind, keeps us unbeaten, and leaves them with more question marks over themselves then us.
We've all got to believe that this City train is going to run out of stream soon. Otherwise just give them the title now. So every point, every clean sheet and staying in the hunt is what it's all about. Keeping teams out sends a message to the teams in the league as well and we are defensively sound at the minute. But your right if we had pushed that gamble button today we might have got more then we did.
