It'll be interesting to see how the team settles down over the next few weeks... Obviously right now he's not got all of his players fit but it'll be interesting to see his first XI when everyone is fit.

I'm still surprised he's not signed a few more players because that squad needed a real overhaul.

Really good result but did anyone watch the game? That scoreline flattered them. OK I do think they deserved to win but to win that easily?

Looks like its going to be a 2/3 horse race this year though...

Mike dean took the center stage with those penalty calls. Can't say I like the new rules. Isn't it supposed to be a contact sport.

I'm all for those rules... Agree it's a contact film but you can't go around pulling and pushing your opponents.

Premier League: Manchester City 3-1 West Ham United - 28th August 2016

City's first half performance was very impressive. I agree with the commentator's assessment that City looked disjointed in the second half, although they still created chances.

New arrivals: Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Aaron Mooy, Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Marlos Moreno, John Stones, Claudio Bravo.

Result: Manchester United 1-2 Manchester City - 10th September 2016

Wins 4
Draws 0
Defeats 0

They look pretty formidable at this point and will only continue to get better. Against us at times they looked brilliant and we all need to hope they drop points soon otherwise they could be out of sight!

Premier League: Manchester City 4-0 Bournemouth - 17th September 2016

Fantastic start! And unexpected for me as I thought they'd struggle a little early. I really thought he didn't clear players out as many thought he would and he wasn't as active in the transfer market as many thought... But I guess that's helping them to have a good start whilst he implements new things.

Premier League: Swansea City 1-3 Manchester City - 24th September 2016

Starting to think they will win a minimum of 30 games this season... Early days I know but they look so good and there's more to come from then I really do believe that.

Yeah after a hugely impressive start it's all started to go a bit wrong. But why?! What's changed? Other than maybe the goals for Aguero have dried up...

I think teams have sussed them a bit. Put pressure on a dodgy defence and goalkeeper. It isn't rocket science, we could all see it, which was why I was so disappointed after the first game

They weren't that impressive against us in the first derby. We actually dominated them during the second half.

Yeah I was very disappointed after that first game. We had a massive physical advantage, yet we stood off them which I couldn't understand. Think we gave them too much respect based on Mourinho's previous encounters with Pep, thing is City aren't Barca.

I know it was a weakened City side, but our system and approach was much much better last night.

Pretty embarrassing stuff from him and later his players in today's game, wonder if it'll attract the same attention from the media. Home form currently worse than ours too which is a surprise.

He seems to escape the scrutiny that Murhino gets.

Because they are sat in the top 4, they started the year well and are still in the title hunt. Chelsea are in great form but they'll stumble at some point just like City have. We are nowhere near the top 5 in terms of points that's why Jose is coming under so much scrutiny.
