I'm not sure I believe that but if true then why not try to rekindle the deal with Juve?Reports are he did want to come here and after said he’s lower his wage demands and we said nah too late.

Ole just said something intersting at the pre match press gig.
About signings,
it’s not about suddenly changing it at all when you haven’t got the right ones and the correct answers from the players you wanted to have
The bit I have undelined is key for me, and probably why Dybala etc. didn't come. This is a welcome change and probably would have stopped things like Di Maria and Sanchez etc.
What did he say that you didn’t agree with? I think he was spot on about changing the attitudes and identifying and signing the right players who have the vision of the club. Fans are disappointed but if he has a group of lads that he can trust and start to build a team again then I don’t think it’ll be long before we see rewards.I like Ole, he's a club legend and could be a good manager for us. But having just read his comments my general reaction is either he's saying what he has to say or he's completely and utterly clueless. I'll opt to believe the former.
He said he trusts the players that are here. In some cases i hope that means trusts them to be bad and that we can't rely on them. What did he say that you didn’t agree with? Oh wow can you imagine that? Jeez!Looks like Dybala's wish to play CL football might not come true. I read today he;s been told by Juve he wont be in their CL squad.
To be honest, I can't believe they'd leave him out, funny if they did though.
He's confirmed he'll be leaving Juve on a free.
Could be a solution to our right wing issues and allow us to focus money elsewhere.
My concern with Dybala would be his work rate. Again I'm not sure he's a fit for the ETH system. That said he's a very talented player.
Admire them as footballers but we should give Argentinians a swerve wherever possible, they just don't work at Old Trafford.
I'd say it's been a mixed bag
Veron - class player but came at the wrong time.
Tevez - brilliant
Heinze - good until he got injured
Di Maria- didn't work out.
They were good while they were here but they don't always go on the best of terms.
It's not so much the players who were all extremely talented it's their agents and the shenanigans they get up to as soon as their client arrives at the club, don't know if they are the same at other clubs, don't really care.
You forgot the legend that is Rojo!I'd say it's been a mixed bag

Think like with most foreign players you have to remember these guys are hired guns they've left home to make as much money as possible so if they don't settle or they get better offers elsewhere then they'll probably look to move on which is fine if you go in with that mentality.
I forgot Rojo on my list of Argentine players he was alright injuries hindered him but he was a pretty solid squad player for a few years but think we were right to move him out when we did. Absolute liability in the VAR era that guy.
Romero as well.
If you pay them top dollar at the outset they're fine, Aguero went to City and was instantly earning as much as their top earner and they never had any problems with him, or his agent, but if you pay them a competitive wage ie. one they wouldn't get better elsewhere like we did with Tevez and Heinze and they have a very good first season their agent demands parity with the top earners or they threaten to move their client on and it gets to a point it's just not worth the hassle keeping them around - that may well work in South America but it doesn't in Europe and rightly so.
I kinda get why the agents move their players on, then try and move them on again the following season when they first bring them to Europe as they don't only represent the players they actual own a half, or two thirds of said player and need sales and/or massive pay rises to pay the original selling club as they know if they don't they may well be erm disappeared!
But once they've paid the selling club in full, and it's usually only a few million, and the player is established it's just pure greed from then on, and they use their players to do it.
It's funny the only Argie who we didn't have problems with, or their agent once they were signed was Seba Veron. And if people think this de Jong transfer is dragging that was even worse after we'd agreed a fee(circa £23.8m), when he did eventually sign months later it was for £28.1m with £4.3m going to the agent which was obviously what the hold up was, the beginning of SAF's there's no value in the market, and the end of Peter Kenyon for agreeing to pay the massive agent fee when previously that was up to the player to sort out, and not the buying club.
