no, I'm actually just going up to see my daughter who is at uni there.

We were just offered beach volleyball tickets, but she has taken a summer job and she doesn't finish in time.

Be good to take in the atmoshphere though
 
The commentary team for BBC’s coverage of gymnastics has slightly amused me. The lady with the proper broad northern accent doesn’t seem the right fit for one of the more graceful sports.

Gymnastics is a lot of power and technique. Grace is not the first word that comes to mind :)
 
Who is that Turkish shooter? He is like a western gunfighter. Hand in his pocket and just pick up the pistol and shoot. No fancy gear either.
 
Not seen him.

The BBC coverage has been terrible. Starting with one thin, leaving half way through. The red button choices also poor
 
You couldn’t have watched the nadal/ Djokovic match. They stopped the coverage after set one
 
I haven't seen any tennis really. Saw a bit of Murray, been a few games on today.

Normally when they stop showng it, you can pick it up on another channel, but this might be because I watch through satellite.

What did they drop it for? I prefer to watch all the sports I don't really see, even though I love tennis, not intersted in djock vs Nadal. Especially if GB are doing something.

I can’t remember to be honest. Too busy trying to find it somewhere else

Yeah, thats a joke.

I've enjoyed the clay shooting, the air shooting, mens BMX, both triathlons, the time trial, the swimming, rowing, wind surfing and diving. The sevens was terrific, really good fun.

Finding the Hockey, gym, beach vollyball a bit boring.

Looking forward to the velodrome

Gutted the coverage of the surfing has been poor. I guess its in the middle of the night, but no highlights
 
Murray’s doubles match is about to start. Could see the end of an era in the next couple hours…
 
Murray bows out. It looked like a sad end but there was still a little bit of fight in the final stages.

From what I read today, she is actually a woman, just with high testosterone levels? still unfair, but not the same as someone who has transitioned. If that is the case, I have some sympathy for her, but she shouldnt be boxing.

The article wasn't exatly clear.
