The roof leaking and flooding out concourses hasn't helped with those costs.I think like Spurs it will be built under a construction management contract.
I can’t see the big main contractors taking the risk on that sort of project.
Stadiums were a big reason for the collapse of Buckingham Group.
Rumours are Laing O’Rourke are losing money on the Everton ground.
The subbies will all be UK based
Not what they are saying on Radio Manchester, they are saying it’s not clear if there’s taxpayers money going in yet, City fans are spewing.
They weren’t shit stirring they were just having a phone in and asking for opinions, it was balanced United fans basically a bit sad that Old Trafford was going to be demolished but happy about the new stadium and bitter blues saying they won’t be paying their council tax.The radio are just sh*t stirring.
There wont be a penny of government money spent on the stadium.
The government funding will be paying for the necessary infrastructure works to regenerate the land around the stadium.
It's also rich coming from City fans. Who paid to build their stadium?

Calm down it’s a handful of people spouting off, doesn’t make it true, where exactly the money is coming from hasn’t been announced and probably won’t be for a while.Well they are sh*t stirring because the bitter blues should be told that their council tax will not be funding the stadium.
They are allowing people to come on their radio show and spout b*llocks which will spread unless it's nipped in the bud.

I know one thing I wouldn’t touch it while the Glazers are there but I’m not a millionaire investor, I do have morals though.
It was a phone in, all sorts come on the radio and start jabbering, If I was you I wouldn’t tune into Talk Sport your head will explode, you seem the sort to take everything very seriously I took it for what it was from the irate City fans..hilariousMy point is if Radio Manchester don't correct that sort of nonsense then it spreads as people heard it on the radio.
My gut feeling is the Glazers will be sold up and gone before this project starts.
Sadly they'll leave the current debt behind for the new ownership and they'll just end up wrapping it in with the stadium debts.

People were being serious about public money being spent on the stadium ffs can you read or is this you wanting the last word on every subject as usual? The way you presented it in your post was people were being serious about public money building the stadium rather than tongue in cheek.
BBC stations should hold themselves to a higher standard than TalkSh*te
I'm amazed people still listen to that the ads every 2 minutes are enough to drive you mad.

I found the City fan losing his shit and saying he wouldn’t be paying his council tax really funny I’m not sure which bit is confusing you.
and when pressed about where the money is coming from to the presenters they said its unclear which is true there are NO investors so far, thats why people are jumping to conclusions I assume? because I cant read minds, you probably can though.
