Next manager

The only excuse from yesterday was the shocking decision not to get a penalty, but there were enough chances to win three games and this isn't a new problem it goes back a very long way.
 
I thought that was fake news about Xavi son in the united shirt.

But I just followed her, and it's not fake news.

No way his son supports united, they've been terrible for years. Maybe there is something in it
 
Xavi was very close to joining Utd as a player.

He fell out of favour and was on the brink of leaving but they sacked the coach (might have been LVG) and he got back in.

No surprise our ex Barca CEO might be tipping him
 
ETH sacked.

You guys can rejoice and meet up again in 2 years time to hound out Xavi.

At least now we won't miss any open goals for the remainder of the season after missing 4 in 9 games and that being the managers fault.

As i said we score the open goals we've missed this season and we are likely sitting in third.

The defining moments of this season are players missing chances not the manager.

The embarrassing circus of a club continues and whilst it does we will remain in the stupid 30 month cycle.
 
we have a different coach we might create for our CF. We might not throw the ball backwards and pass between our CB when we need a goal, we might react to alterations the other coach makes on his tactics.

There are loads of ifs and buts, the league position is key.

No talk of his back room staff going or anyone coming in at the moment. The jobs been given to Ruud.
 
Should have happened weeks ago. Lets hope something of the season can be salvaged.

If we have a new manager before Christmas I bet there'll be people on here moaning for him to be sacked by May.
 
David Moyes, LvG and now EtH, sadly the entitled continue to call the shots ....

Glad to see the majority of social media post are along the lines of the players and board continue to undermine the manager and yet people think changing the manager will turn things around even though we have clear evidence otherwise.
 
Ruud as interim, give me strength, one of the greatest finishers the World has ever seen, that’s not even open to debate, but as a guy give me a break ...

Not good enough, he shouldn’t have been backed to carry on after last season the FA cup pulled the wool over peoples eyes it was like watering a dead plant.
No one wants this but it had to happen.
7 nil at home to Scouse, wanting dross like Antony, the Spurs disaster are just a few examples of unacceptable failure.
 
they must have brought Ruud in for a reason, did well in Holland.

Not sure myself, but it's in his grasp for now.

The fact they looked in the summer probably undermined him, and they should have sacked him then.

Now Ineos have all their people in place, including the new manager. No excuses.

5 managers sacked in 11 years. Plus the interim period of Ragnick.

The club is an embarrassment. The sort of thing we used to mock Chelsea. Well and truly lost.

yeah, we can move on from that banal back and forth.

You'd like to think they have a plan, they've had long enough to think about it.

It's a tough job whoever gets it, the past few seasons we have bought some terrible players.
 
Doesn't seem like there is any plan in place. There is no clear favourite for the job.

Southgate, Xavi, Frank, Potter, Ruud.

If there was a plan Ruud wouldn't be getting the job as interim manager.

INEOS have been a farce so far.

Dude come on… Look you rate Ten Hag that is admirable. You supported him and wanted him to remain. Again that is great.

But your comment here is delusional. I mean I could say… If Southampton had a proven goalscorer we’d be fighting for European spots. If my Auntie was a man she’d be my uncle.

United are not a top 3 side and are a long way from being so. Top 4 was always going to be a challenge for you this year and in fact I didn’t think you’d get top 4. But when I said that people just wanted to make out that I was saying it to provoke reaction.
 
I’ve been in a meeting and only just seen the news. Feel indifferent. He’s got things wrong this season but he’s also been let down by an inexperienced attack - whether he is to blame for that for, I don’t know.
 
common, he had plenty of time, he was given a fair crack.

Any other club he would have been gone ages ago.

We're meant to be one of the biggest clubs in the world, under ETH we've been miles off that in every aspect, signings, tactics, media.

I imagine Ruud is the plan, which is why he is there.

I mean in what I said where was I wrong? Do you disagree the Garnacho open goal vs Brighton which Zirkzee foolishly got disallowed, the Bruno chance vs Palace and then Dalot opportunity were pivotal moments that cost us points? Stating facts isn't dilusion.

We have the worst goals to xg ratio in the league. You can say oh but this and oh but that but that's quite simply the case as recorded by Opta. The finishing has been the issue not the manager.

If Ruud is their plan we are in even more trouble with INEOS than I realised. He's less qualified for the job than McKenna.

Always makes me laugh when some of you think you know what’s going on, like ETHs going no where… :p

I expect Ruud will follow him out soon.

You just can’t justify the results and while performances in some games have been ok I don’t think we’ve had 1 game where we’ve looked convincing for the full 90 minutes.

They gave him plenty of time to address the decline but he hasn’t done it.

Players should also be held to account to many have under performed.

What we can’t do is change in a totally different direction which is why we’ve gone through so many managers. It just needs a new voice.

Now there is a manager who shouldnt have been sacked.

Loads of people on here backing ETH, wanted Ole out, the main reason being, he hadn't managed a big club.

Read lots of interviews from Ole, he learnt a lot from that spell. It would be much different this time round.

But I dont see it.

I think if I had to make a bet, it would be a manager I don't like as personality, but his team does well, and that's Frank. Really don't like him though
