Alessia who?

I like your optimism, not exactly got the goal record of Alessia.

I'd like us to go for Daly

I remeber Brazil going out in a shock result so they were there. Might have been Australia cos the kits confused me for a bit.

edit, 0 - 0 against Jamaica knocked them out, Jamaica wore yellow

I thought they must have been there, United had been linked to a couple of Brazilians and I was gonna have a look-see, but forgot

Always likely to happen, all the best at Villa Kirsty, thanks for the memories ....

Nice signing, the departure, I don't recall her playing last season

Out on loan last season apparently. Not sure she's featured much since she joined as a 17 year old when Casey Stoney was Manager(ess). Very highly rated though when she joined.

Never did get the chance to sing my "Casey's Jones, steaming and a rolling" It's not fair.

United getting busy, 4 probable arrivals today before the 23:00 deadline:

Irene Guerrero (midfielder from Spain)
Phallon Tullis-Joyce (goalkeeper from America)
Gabby George (defender coming home from Everton)
Melvine Malard (forward on loan from Lyon in France*)

@Mr C, will be along in a few minutes with a brief 1000 word scouting report on MM

They've drawn PSG in their Champions League qualifier

Entertaining game, with Arsenal the better team, I know this because the Arsenal Manager said it 6/7 times in his post-match interview.

So glad Russo didn't score.

Put it this way, they didn't deserve to lose.

She tried her best to score, poor thing :p

I thought they did okay considering Zelem and Ladd both chose the wrong game to play as poorly i've ever seen them play for United together and individually , and poor Toone is obviously missing Russo and might as well not have been there most of the time, and Blundell looks less effective on the right, like the look of Gabby George though, And the French lass looks as though she could catch pigeons.

Yeah thought the one that hit the post was in. I was primed to boo.

Given themselves a fighters chance in Paris next Wednesday after an entertaining 1-1 draw on Tuesday night, PSG had United's number in the first 30 minutes but United can on strong in the 2nd-half and probably deserved to win on chances created ....

Malard scored again from the bench, unbelievable pace and also very brave, Alessio who?

1 win 2 draws in the league, not the best of starts. Although Leicester have had a good start so a draw might be ok.

Need to get some wins on the board

I believe there's research being done to look at why so many players are getting these injuries.

I suspect the conclusion will be more games are being played and the games are more physically demanding so the chance of these sort of injuries happening is increasing.

Lost the derby 3-1 yesterday at Old Trafford in front of a crowd of over 45,000

Looks like it'll be a tougher season this year for the women's team.

awful performance.

Think the manager is being found out a bit now. Doesn't seem good enough for me.

Earps made a mistake, but also made several great saves. First thing Sir Jim should do is sign her up. Then look for a better manager

I don't think she'll sign she will want to go and play for the top prizes I don't see Utd being able to do that in the next few years.

They probably over achieved a bit last year now Arsenal are getting their injured players back they're looking like they'll be the competition for Chelsea this year.

Will be interesting to see how Chelsea cope with the loss of Emma Hayes at the end of the season.
