Can’t believe what I saw last night, Darmian provided an assist, AN ASSIST!

Great cross for Lingard who finished with a great header.

Remember seeing him play for Italy at Euro 2016 under Conte as a wing back and he was decent going forward, certainly looks more comfortable going forward when he plays on the right.

I think he's a decent backup right back/left back if we sign a new LB I'd try and keep him and sell Blind, Young & Shaw.

Champions League: FC Basel 1-0 Manchester United - 22nd November 2017

I would be surprised if he is still at the club at the start of next season.

Didn't have a great game but was left horribly exposed to 2 vs 1 situations second half because no one in midfield or the wide forward helped him, Basel stretched the pitch very wide which makes his job harder as he can't start wide he has to stay close to Smalling.

I agree he's probably going to be on his way but last night it was clear he needed help and neither his team mates or the manager did anything to help him imo.

Just not good enough, we need a serious shake up in the full back areas. Valencia and Young should be backup really, both the wrong side of 30 now too. Get rid of everyone else and get 2 new uns in.
