Not sure this one would make much sense for us to be honest. He’s not a number 10 and probably doesn’t have the skill set yet to be a starting striker which is what we need. You would maybe say he’s best at the moment as a winger, so I feel like our name has just been thrown into the mix for some headlines.

Great talent though but think we need someone with some experience as well as talent right now.

He makes a lot more sense for Spurs they've got experience in their attack already so bringing in a younger players makes sense.

For Tel not sure it's a smart move for him given they're likely to dump the manager at some point in the near future and there's already a new striker fresh in the door in Solanke who's doing ok.

Can't see him coming here on a loan deal when they have offered €60m on a permanent one

To be honest selling Garnacho to buy this guy didn't really make much sense to me, not that I know much about him.

The only thing I know about Tel is he smashed one past us in the 4-3 game last season.

Still think we could go him or Nkunku on loan irrespective of whether Garnacho leaves

Don’t think there’s any room in the budget for a loan.

Might be if Rashford and Malacia both go out on loan.

Not sure Chelsea will let Nkunku go on loan to us without a fee and wages paid.

I always thought clubs made pretty sure players were interested before sticking in offers.

I wonder if Villa are starting to sniff around him
 
Sounds like he ultimately wants to make it Bayern so maybe doesn’t want to get a perm deal away, so a loan is probably what’s going to happen here.

Not sure if I want someone who is using a spell here to probably impress his current employers. Would rather go into a loan deal knowing there is a strong possibility he could be signed if he does well.

kompany doesn’t seem to fancy him at all.

Not sure why we are looking at him even on loan to be honest.
 
There has been zero links to any proven strikers this window. I presume that means it's the top priority for the summer. I do wonder where the goals are going to come from until then.

Think there’s so few of them in the game at the moment. In the prem how many teams are playing with a top quality number 9?

The goals have to come from everywhere in the modern game. You need quality and goals all across the team.

Surprised we didn't at least see if we could get Napoli to recall Osimhen from Galatasaray loan or maybe cheap deal for David as out of contract in the summer.

My guess is David already has his next move lined up. Where that is who knows but there’s a long list of clubs looking for centre forwards. PSG, Liverpool, Arsenal, Madrid, Chelsea and Utd so a good one on a free is going to have options.

Napoli would probably have recalled Osihmen for a sale rather than another loan. Their goal is to have him sold in the summer. My guess is Osihmen will likely end up in Saudi

Presume Gyokeres is our top striker target for summer, one thing I will say about Tel is he can play in various attacking positions and strikes ball well off either foot. Oh dear you know who that reminds us of instantly.

I don’t see us going for him unless that price comes right down. £60-70m for a guy who’s 27 and never played in a top league. Way too big a gamble for me.

I don’t think we can mess about with strikers anymore if we are buying one it needs to be someone with a bit of proven pedigree.

If the Gyokeres price is lowered and he isn’t expecting crazy wages you maybe take the gamble.

In a very hypothetical situation Utd could even look at sending Hojlund the other way on loan for a year.

I reckon our name is just being chucked in for clicks.

He’s a signing that would make no real sense for us even if he was cheap.

Need at least two centre mids, a new centre forward and probably 2 wide players. Probably have to leave the keeper situation for another 12 months. The team needs goals

Personally think we need one of them and Tel, would then have proven PL experience and a talent as well

Sounds like a move for anyone seems unlikely right now.

Better hope there isn’t an injury to Amad or Bruno, or we are even more up the creek than we already are!
