Think he lasted 2 games last season before he got injured.

But he can press! [Although his body has other ideas about that]

He's also the loudest in the dressing room! [Probably means he's just annoying to most, as are those types]

Bargain for 250k a week - an injured jester.

Some weird feckers on here, should feel sorry for the lad trying to establish himself at the club, but oh no let's take the piss

Very disappointing for him just as he was potentially getting a good run of games together.

The move hasn’t worked out so far with some bad luck with injuries. In hindsight it’s not been a good move to date but cannot account for injuries so definitely don’t hold that against him.

Really unfortunate for him. He looked good in preseason and did okay in the first two games.

Has he

I just don't see what Mount offers.

I realise a lot of managers pick him, but I just don't get it.

He seems like a nice lad though. Just a very peculiar signing.

I never held it against him at all because I know injuries happen - but I did want us to move on from Varane because you could never rely on him.
Wasnt having a pop btw, just curious.

I think he should probably be on the for sale list, but the list that is secret, if there is one of those

He doesn't really offer much, seems injury prone, as he was at the end of his Chelsea career from memory. Get rid

Issue is if injuries continue to be a problem this season the chances of selling him given the wages he's on are pretty low.

Hopefully this is a small set back not a continuation of the problems he's had for the last 2 years.

United missed Mount’s energy in midfield. The team were also more compact with Bruno playing as a false 9.

For all his running around what we haven't seen is that being converted into goal scoring opportunities.

Not necessarily a fault of Mount but we've been quite good under ETH at winning the ball back high up but we don't convert that into goals or quality chances anywhere near enough.

Yesterday you saw 2 top class wide players combine to be clinical when those moments presented themselves.

We then end up back in the situation where when the strikers are fit where does Mount fit.

Mount was £60 million and been injured most of his time at United so far, when he’s been fit he does little more than lots of running. He’s another that has previous with ETH like Onana and Antony, This Ajax old boys network has to stop.

Mount didn't have previous with ETH.

The decision to spend £60m on him is the same as the Casemiro one we've spent a lot of money in terms of fee and wages and not really fixed the midfield problem he inherited.

You can chuck Eriksen in as well in 2 summer windows we have not addressed the midfield weaknesses at all.

Yes my mistake ETH saw Mount when he was on loan at Vitesse and wanted him after seeing him play against Ajax

whoever wanted this player needs taking outside and given a good talking too

It can’t be more than 5 games between injuries.

Not sure if we are cursed or just have incompetent idiots doing the signings, It cant be bad luck all the time.

I don’t think this was bad luck looked to me like bad planning.

Like the Casemiro one the summer before overpaid on fee and wages. The wages I can kind of get but transfer fees on those two were well above what we needed to pay.

Even worse with Mount he wasn’t what we needed at the time and was coming off an injury hit season.

He’s slowly climbing up the worst Utd signing list.

yeah the good signing list certainly doesn’t get updated as often as the bad signing list.

I feel a bit sorry for Mount injuries aren’t really his fault it’s just frustrating that we never see him.

When he has played he’s actually done ok

Yeah I definitely feel a bit for him, he seems to be in this endless cycle of injury after injury. It must be disheartening - I don’t tend to feel too sorry for players though because at the end of the day he is still taking home a shed load of money a week!
