Never seen a problem with his passing, he just does what he feels the team needs at that time with a minimum of fuss, when he needs to do a 50/60 yard diagonal he is more than capable.
 
I think he’s ticking along quite nicely now, he was very good last night I thought and has brought that added tenacity to the middle of the park we’ve sorely missed.
 
He's ok, I don't see anything special at the moment, but it's early days.
 
I think if you don’t really mention him in a game then he’s probably doing a decent job. His job is to mop up and recycle the ball and I think he’s doing pretty good at that.
 
I don't think you'll ever notice him bossing a midfield but the defence doesn't seem to be getting exposed as much and he's bought back a bit of the nasty side to our midfield.
 
Exactly, we had nobody with that ruthless aggression in there. It's necessary in some games.
 
His job is to clean up and he is doing a decent job so far. You never saw a Hargreaves bossing a midfield either but Anderson and him had partnered together in a lot of our memorable wins.
 
Ugarte I don’t think we really know what we’ve got yet.

He should be fully up to fitness now so once this international break is done we will see what he can really offer.
 
He was fully fit ages ago putting in team of the tournament displays. He played well against Chelsea and PAOK.
 
I’d say so far most games have been 7/10 when I’ve seen him.

No major issue with that but we need to start seeing an 8 or a 9 chucked in.
 
I'm sure we'll start to see those 8's a lot under Amorim. Higher ratings than that is asking a lot for a defensive midfielder of his type. He's never going to start spraying the ball about and supplying assists. I suppose he could have some games where he mops up so well it stands out to the point of a MOTM display of 9 or 10, but they'll be very rare.
 
There's one of those performances for you, an easy 8. Only second to Bruno today.
 
Top performance. He was excellent at breaking up play, I lost count on how many occasions he broke up and won the ball back. Still not 100% convinced on short passing game but maybe I’m being harsh or maybe I’m wrong.

Harsh and wrong ;).

Did the job he was bought to do brilliantly today. Both his short and long passing were good. Casemiro must love playing alongside him.
 
We were so much better in midfield when he came on. He gave us a bit of control, will be a nailed on starter in this Amorim team.
 
no more trips back to South America for internationals until March.

Expect he will be a regular starter going forward.
 
Got an assist but felt he bossed the midfield.

Kept the ball moving and made it hard for them to play into midfield
