Manchester City Discussion 2024/25

A fair chunk of it is legit but a lot of their sponsorship deals are highly questionable.

As for reducing wage bill it’s showing on the pitch as the squad looks light this season.

Few big earners left and haven’t been replaced.

Behind again at Villa.

They are ripped to shreds really and Villa could have been out of sight!

City are in trouble, look worse than us

Love it

Crazy to say, is pep a great manager, can he only do well when he spends loads

They look like Moyes Utd

A group that is just finished and have lost their aura of invincibility.

Must be one of their worst runs in their full history even the terrible City sides that got relegated didn’t have many runs like this

I was thinking the same thing. Can he only perform when everything is in place? A bit of hardship for the first time in his career and he appears lost.

Watched bits of the game, they look incredibly poor right now.

I still think a lot of it is down to missing Rodri. It's obvious that any team would miss a key player, but to this extent is very worrying for them.

Anyways I'm enjoying it.

Half of their 'fans' will be supporting Liverpool now...... :D

The damage has been well and truly done for their season. They may well go on a run now but let’s be honest the last few fixtures against Leicester and West Ham were quite friendly.

Yeah, if Liverpool can win their two games in hand they'd open up a 17 point gap; the damage has already been done.

No chance of the title but expect they’ll try to focus on Europe.

That is still in the balance if they lose the next game to PSG they could finish outside the top 24 and be out.

I'm far more interested in these charges right now... It's got to be close to us hearing the decision.

Sorry, hate Kyle walker, don't even want to talk about him!

Kyle Walker has told them he wants leave in January to play abroad.

Walker wants to go still with 18 months on his contract, why cant our players be like this we always have to do it the hard way.

Probably wants to get away from that girl he keeps getting pregnant who’s taking him to the cleaners on childcare.

They must have offered him ridiculous money to sign that.

Must have had a sizeable brown envelope thats quite some commitment.
Could get a career changing injury or relegation to the Championship although thats highly unlikely.

Reckon all in he’s getting £1bn for that deal if he does the full contract.

Not sure that will all be on the books of City but no doubt he is used as some sort of Abu Dhabi ambassador
