I doubt he's had the heads up on any decision if they had any indication they'd have leaked it.

The case is still on going.

The rumours about him staying started over the summer so wasn't really surprised by the news.

Reckon the big impact on them currently with this case is they've put a bit of a cap on spending.
 
Or it could be City have offered him £30m for that one year to try and get them out of the Vauxhall conference North at the first attempt.
 
Not bothered about his extension, his time dominating the league is over.

He won't be able to replace Rodri, De Bruyne or B.Silva. Their luck is going to run out. Even Gundogan's return has been quite poor and he was an enormous part of Pep's best midfield. Grealish is a failure on the whole and Foden is playing like he's on international duty. Doku is not good enough and well, that defense is showing signs of not only inexperience but very clear worry.

This is the season to put down a big bet on Liverpool winning the title. At least make some money from them, as we'll all hate it when it happens.
 
Turns out City were a one man team! Been rotten since Rodri got injured!

2-0 Spurs - City started well but Spurs all over them like a cheap suit now!
 
I’d love to believe that this is the start of City115’s demise.
It’s probably just a blip though.
 
Spurs are wildly inconsistent but when they turn it on they are very good.

Kulusevski was absolutely brilliant. He ran the show.

Yeah they would be right behind scousers if they hadn't blown lead at Brighton or actually turned up against Palace and Ipswich.
 
What is really pleasing is that Peps new contract announcement was supposed to provide some good feel bounce :Dand didn't make any difference.
and no doubt in part at least to try and over shadow Amorims arrival.
 
Spurs ride their luck City had some very good chances.

Think that’s why Spurs results are so hit and miss
 
However much we dislike city. Pep needs to leave, I worry for his mental health after seeing what he did to himself.

Guy needs a break
 
I didn't see what he did he's saying it was an accident.

As for his mental health there's no way that guy functions like a "normal" human being.

They've got a hell of a job this summer to fix that squad which won't be easy with the new sporting director coming in, the recent signings at City haven't really paid off and a lot of that "core" group that they've relied on are starting to look like they're hitting the end.

Walker, Stones, Gundogan, Bernardo Silva & De Bruyne are all starting to either pick up injuries/look their age.
 
Their defence looks so ordinary without Rodri there to protect it. I think you would fancy scoring goals against them whoever you maybe.

Last night was probably worse than any of the defeats to be honest!

You would expect them to bounce back though which they have done in the past. Definitely need to beat Liverpool on Sunday though. I can’t see Liverpool being caught with an 11pt lead.
 
I think it starts at the front they can't press anywhere near as aggressively as they did at their best so teams are able to get the ball to their forwards easier and generate better counter attacks. For the first time in years they look vulnerable at the back.

The other side of it as well is apart from Haaland no one else is scoring.

If they don't win at Anfield on Sunday they've got no chance of winning the league.
