Manchester City Discussion 2024/25

13 is an unlucky number should probably injury another just for luck.

Yeah... Haaland. Injure him please. Nothing too bad, as I never want to see people hurt. Just something lengthy.

They made that harder than it needed to be, the end of that game must have been hell for Bournemouth fans.

Does feel like they need a bit of a rebuild of that squad.

Let's hope they're doing it from league 2 next season.

Not sure they need a rebuild, getting some players back would help.

If they get relegated it wont matter :p

I dunno I think there's some big important players that they need to replace.

Walker, De Bruyne even Bernardo Silva are all starting to fade, that's 3 huge players to replace.

Just looks to me like they need a bit of a freshen up.

In the last 2 summer windows I'm not sure they've really come out of them stronger than they were going into them.

Somewhere, Winston Bogarde is applauding and saying 'Quite right, quite right'.

To be fair Mendy was in the right here it was Man City's decision to suspend him over a pending legal case if his contract doesn't give them a reason to withhold payment he's entitled to the money.

The Bogarde story was brilliant commuting to and from Amsterdam every day to turn up to training made sure they had to keep paying him every penny of that contract.

I have a friend who is a fervent Chelsa fan and the mention of Bogarde virtually has him foaming at the mouth, so naturally I mention it as often as possible, which indeed I did this morning after the Mendy report. :)

Ah Winston, remember his story well! They demoted him to the youth teams to try and pressure him to leave but he was like ‘nah I’ll take my £40k a week, thank you very much’.

He’s a modern day hero.

Pictures are sometimes so much better than words. Hahahaha.

it’s all fun and game until you realise Liverpool are being handed the title.

Fraudiola is back

He's such a prick. It's a certainty this is going to be eating him alive. 4 Losses in a row, he's about to explode!

Seems Rodri was 99% of their team.

I only caught the last 20-25 mins but the 9 minutes did seem a little fanciful but not sure what went on before I started watching.
I only caught the first ten minutes, so we're pretty useless for confirmation I guess. ;p

City do seem to be getting a lot of added time this season that can’t be explained, glad it didn’t work for them though.

Yeah, that's why I asked, it's definitely a theme this season. I do try and watch their games [yes, I'm insane] to see if they lose. I missed most of this one though due to falling asleep again.

Struggling for goals, apart from Haaland no one is scoring.
