Still a very good player.

Would be rather annoying if they land him.

It's frustrating that in 2 summers they seem to have picked up 4 or 5 good centre midfielders most of them in their early 20's without spending astronomical sums of money.

They were helped by getting some decent wedge in for Henderson and Fabinho who were both finished.

Been more concerned at the midfielders they picked up if they still had Salah, Firmino and Mane in their pomp ahead of them, might be a great mix, they might need to rip it up and start again in 18 months, here's hoping

Yeah their revamp of the front line so far hasn't gone to plan.

Diaz I think has done well as a Mane replacement but the Nunez signing hasn't worked out. If Nunez can adjust his shooting radar by about 6 inches inside the post he'd be an absolute world beater.
 
Zubimendi was the guy I was hoping we signed. Be a shame to see him go there.
 
Should put a cheeky bid in for Curtis Jones, with the right coaching he could be as good as any English midfielder.

No mystery just basic football knowledge, theres an Amazonian tribe that`s never watched football but even they were laughing when they read your comment....

You claim to be a life long United fan, tell me this when did Man Utd and Liverpool start selling players to each other?

Quick question for you, do those Amazonian tribes peeps know that Manchester United and Liverpool have a gentlemans agreeing not to try and sign each others player above reserve/youth level?

I dont take myself too seriously, never have, and after 9 weeks in hospital even less so, the avatar is my way of letting the hard of thinkiing know that, now if i'd been called a knob, we are on dangerous ground ....

All I did was point out that United and Liverpool dont sell players to one another, you`ve got plenty of history for being sarcastic and taking swipes at people so dont play the innocent card. If you give it you have to take it too.
Jealousy ? not sure what weird stuff you are on but here's some friendly advice, try and cut down.

Bit of relief there as he looks like a very good player.

They've just sold Fabio Carvalho to Brentford for £27m which is a good bit of business for them as he's nowhere near their first team.

No new signings yet for Slot not saying they needed a drastic overhaul as they did a lot last summer to refresh the midfield but you'd think he'd want a few new faces in the group.

A couple of bad results early on and it won't be long before people bring out the "that isn't what Jurgen would do" stuff.

Still plenty of goals in that attack though which is annoying I reckon this season top 4 is the challenge for them this season I don't see them getting near the title.
