Think they'll be safe by finishing fourth from bottom on goal difference.

Yeah my WhatsApp has gone a bit quiet this season...always been fairweather lot tho

3-0 down to Napoli at half time. Klopp won't make it through the season at this rate either.

I've got #kloppout ready to send to my scouse mates at full time...such an unexpected pleasure this fall from grace...loving every minute of it

Gomez has been absolutely dreadful when I’ve seen him this season. The whole Liverpool side look stale and uninspired.

I do wonder if they might be suffering from burnout. I mean, you can't maintain that level of energy and presssing year on year.

You wonder if age is catching up to a few of them they're having to play Milner a lot because of injury.

I think they massively miss Mane he was often the trigger for their pressing and he was the

Van Dijk being out of form is a major issue for them but the media won't talk about it.

I've got a pool mate who loves taking the pee out of Maguire, so I sent him a message last night, VVD the new Maguire. But he wouldn't have it's all gomez of course!

Didn't see the game but sounds like TAA was found out defensively again

they look it a right state

AND I LOVE IT!

The VVD talk is starting but he's got plenty of "credit in the bank" at this stage I've heard 2 or 3 different pundits say he's had a poor start to the season.

The high line seems to be a big problem for them at the moment the extra margin for error on the VAR calls mean it's a big gamble and if your pressing up top isn't spot on you are in big trouble.

I didn't see the game last night but sounds like Napoli were getting in behind so easily.

I saw the goal highlights, and they did get in behind.

Liverpool are in real trouble, if he doesn't sort it soon they could be fighting for top 4.

Always going to be hard to refresh the team and to me it looks like they're a bit desperate in midfield at the moment they haven't really re-stocked that area of the pitch in years and it's showing I think. They've spent money on the attack which makes sense but could be a tough season if they can't address the midfield issues.

Arthur came on loan but he's a gamble at his best he's a very good player but he's not been near his best for years.

I'll enjoy it more if they're still below us at the end of the season.

This is why Southgate will always choose Reece James over Trent. James is the more complete full back.

VvD should've been sent off v Everton and gave away a pen last night. Not sure how that's Gomez's fault. Napoli were fantastic from what I saw. Got in behind that defence at will.

Fergie always talked about how hard it was to repeat as champions as the motivation and hunger isn't the same as when you're chasing it.

Amazing what happens when your dodgy inhaler dealer goes missing...

They aren't champions ;)

Further dropped points following the 3-3 against Brighton. 10 points from 7 games. I’ll now be surprised if they are involved in the title race. I hear Nunez had a stinker of a cameo.

Brighton could have gone 4-0 up in this one they were ripping them apart early on.

They look miles off their usual standards.

I couldn't see them competing with City this year. They were going behind and rescuing points too often last season and it's not sustainable.

I thought they’d push them the hardest but they don’t look to be on it, feel like that happened last season as well City were miles clear at Christmas and Liverpool managed to reel them in.

The only player who seems to be fully on it is Allison everyone else seems to be off their usual standards.

TAA and Salah both subbed. Martinelli ran them ragged.

6 points off the top 4 as well.

Think they are suffering from burn out from the past few seasons, and the team now needs refreshing.

Love to see it. Having Liverpool do so well has been hard to watch.

City are totally irrelevant so who cares if they do well but I do care when Liverpool do well.

They are missing Mane so much.

Mane is struggling at Bayern too.

Van Dijk is struggling big time looks to have lost a bit of his recovery speed so they’re dropping a bit deeper which hurts their pressing.

They just don’t seem to have that death grip on opponents that they’ve had in previous seasons and the fast starts are gone.

Oh I thought Mane was doing quite well at Bayern? Granted I haven’t seen many games but a few reports I’ve read he’s doing pretty good.

He had a good start but been struggling recently.

Bayern have been drawing a lot of games domestically which is unlike them.

TAA and Diaz injured today with so many games over the next 6 weeks before the World Cup they’re going to be stretched. Arthur Melo is out for 3-4 months as well.

City at Anfield next week if City play like they did in that first half against us they could rip this Liverpool side to shreds.
