Maybe, but shouldn't affect him mentally. Ridiculous to let the third goal roll past him, where was the safety first approach. One of a number of players who do not do the basics well. You have to wonder if that injury has taken a bit out of him physically.
Lost a bit of his acceleration and spring maybe?

That's not a bad shout. Put him alongside Ugarte, there would be some bite in midfield.Only United could buy a centre half dwarf the notion that he`s good in the air for his size is a myth, I`d try him in midfield now nothing to lose.
Casemiro and Eriksen dont have ANY legs but get selected because we are woefully short in that area. His form doesn’t warrant a place in the team, I don’t like the idea of playing in midfield, he doesn’t have the legs to get up and down the pitch.
It’s a shame Shaw is constantly injured and Evans is the only other who can naturally play left centre back. I’d like to see Yoro and Evans rotate for the remainder of the season.

Not the best argument for Martinez to play in midfield.Casemiro and Eriksen dont have ANY legs but get selected because we are woefully short in that area.
Sell him then another ETH balls upNot the best argument for Martinez to play in midfield.
I think it was just tactics, he looked quite mobile to me, Arsenal were pumping high balls into the area, heading isn't exactly his strong point! He looked injured and played as a striker in the final stages of extra time. Any word on the injury he sustained?
