I guess he’s still only 23 so plenty of time to get to Madrid. Rinse PSG for all the money he can, then make the move. It is a surprising move but footballers careers can be cut short in the blink of an eye, so sometimes you’ve got to take the money. It's well known he said if Neymar went he'd stay. Problem is, who's buying Neymar.
The rumour is he gets a say on players and manager. The whole deal seems daft.
I'm disappointed he didn't chase his dream and ambition and join Madrid. Football really is sad these days
We all know it only exists in principle. The big boys find a way to get around the rules, overinflated sponsorship deals etc.Whatever happened to FFP
Madrid have been shamed in the market here. Already complaining to UEFA about the money involved.
Not sure what they do appease their fans, other than buy someone from Barca. And they haven't really got anyone.
Mbappe probably has burnt his bridges with Madrid, who can afford that money
Whatever happened to FFP
Nah he does what he wants. He says what he wants and acts how he wants. And PSG just allow him to do it. It's quite laughable really. I wouldn't want that guy anywhere near United no matter how good a player he is.First interview, not ruling out a future Madrid move.
Jeez, surely you can skirt that question a bit better 1 day into your new deal
Sorry bud but it's got nothing to do with that. He's stayed for the money and because PSG have given him so much power. Top players do not spend a chunk of their young careers at PSG. They win the league at a canter and don't really need to try. Then in Europe they get found out because they don't face real competition every week.I was very surprised he stayed but maybe he feels he wants to be the guy to put Paris on top before making a move away.

It's the day after he signed. What more do you expect him to say footballers never close doors.
Everyone knows it's his dream move but he's sticking around for another 1, 2 or 3 years.
Even if he does 2 more seasons with PSG then goes he's still only 25 so if he stays healthy he'll still be in his prime.

He should have said.
I've just signed a new deal, I'm not thinking about my next one yet.
Next question
His answer was disrespectful, to the fans, and the oweners who have just given him 500m, not 24 hours after his deal
