Looks a very skillful player. Only 16 so coupled with the number of talented midfielders in the current academy side opportunities may be limited for him this season but he's certainly one to watch out for in years to come. Scored four excellent goals in one game at this years milk cup.

May have played his way into the squad for the Palace game. Hope the promise of youngsters in that game happens, instead of one or two on the bench.

Harrop has always been highly rated but had an unfortunate injury and has taken his time getting back to form. His five goals in two games against Arsenal and Spurs has been excellent.

We have to be a little bit careful with the palace game. What we don't want is for these youngsters to be on the wrong end of a record scoreline. I imagine de gea and vailley will play. Maybe tuanzebe, mitchell, mctominay, harrop. Maybe martial to make a late claim. Not really sure who else.

Yeah fully agree, we can't just throw 11 rookies in there and hope for the best. I was thinking more along the lines of perhaps three/four youngsters starting then supplement them with players who aren't going to be starting the EL final. So perhaps:

- De Gea -

- Tuanzebe - Bailly - Jones - Mitchell -

- Carrick - McTominay -

- Mata - Harrop - Martial -

- Rooney -

That way a few youngsters get a game but you're not throwing in so many and they get a stuffing.

Harrop is a strange one. He clearly has lots of ability but has often blown far too hot and cold for me. There have been questions about his application and work ethic which has probably led to his inconsistencies.

Lovely run and finish.

Been a great week for the young man hat trick in the reserves then a goal on his first team debut.

Similar story to Macheda although his goal was in very different circumstances, let's hope this doesn't all go to his head.

Grew up as a Utd fan, been with the club since he was 8 years old, fantastic stories.

All these other clubs talk the talk on youth development but none give the youngsters the chances that Utd do... even with Mourinho in charge ;)

Thought he was terrific. Superb composure for the goal from a stunning Pogba pass. It had a dead rubber feel about it but he certainly took his chance and does look capable of being a good player for us.

That's a huge plus in my books. Giving the youth a shout. Excellent debut. Manchester United! A new hope! Life after Sir Alex. chapter 5 coming soon.
