Utd's problem is the same as everyone else's.

There are not very many top quality number 9's in world football at the moment.

Because of that everyone is taking gambles on young players who might develop.

My guess with Duran is Villa are probably thinking maybe they move Watkins on as he's probably reaching peak value then bring Duran in as the ready made replacement.
