What do people think of the links to Mateta, personally saw him as a flop under Hodgson but has been a revelation since Glasner took over. Whether Ruben can get the same player out of him is the big question.

I think he’d be a good signing as long as the price/wages don’t get to silly. Been in great form for the last 18 months at palace.

Utd need some experience in attack and this guy might be enough for a year or two while we hopefully get Obi ready.

I doubt we’ve got the money to go massive for a top proven striker.

Probably a case of all things aligning a bit for him at Palace - his age, his team-mates. I think he's in a purple patch, in the prime of his career.

Do I think he could come here and do it in this team? No.
